Dex did "leave" Port Charles, but I think we will still see him.
She could have been who the writers intended to be their boss but since that storyline ended abruptly, I guess we'll never know. It does seem like a good possibility, though.

Who knows. Some one-night stand? Or some character they create that Jason had a secret relationship with.
They could always just rewrite history again, like they do sometimes, and decide he had a one night stand with someone out of left field, like Lois or Portia or Heather, for example.
