AK is on our plans for today. We are wearing shorts, it is cool, but we are in Florida and we should be wearing shorts.
We start off with a character breakfast at Artist Point. We meet Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore. Eeyore is my favorite. Tigger knocks over a tray of food, sorry Tigger did not mean to get you in trouble. Eeyore is hungry then won't feed him, this makes him sad. Pooh wants the honey that they have for the pancakes. Food is excellent, DH loves this breakfast. Starts with breads. juice, coffee, scrambled eggs, potatoes with cheese and onions, pancakes bacon and sausage.
The bus to AK stops at GF to pick up passengers. This is the first time we have picked up others with the bus. GF is nicely decorated with the reindeer.
Walked through the Safari ride no wait. We finally saw the Lions, have done this ride 4 times and had never seen the lions. I guess it's good that it is cool weather, hmmm did I say that? Did Pangari trail, saw the meer (sp) cats and lots of gorillas. Walked right on Kali River (we brought our Disney Ponchose) we are chickens aren't we? Did the Maharajah trek. Saw the tigers. Lots of animals are out. Saw deer and antelopes and cranes. Saw a fiesty antelope. He was chasing the females around.
Bus back to WL, we did laundry, no one in the laundry room, I guess Saturday was a good day to get this chore done. Had burgers. Went into the pool and hot tub.
Went to DD that night in long pants and sweatshirts, bus stopped at Poly and GF, others on the bus were upset, thought it was a direct route. Lady that got on at GF thought she was on the bus to MGM, she'll be late meeting her husband at 6 at MGM. Shopped at the Christmas Store and World of Disney. We separate so we can do our Christmas shopping for each other. Opps we meet in the socks section. hmmmm. We each ship our packages home. No tax this way, just the shipping charges.
Left for the Lodge, there was a little boy who was lost. He had to be only 2 years old. Disney people were very kind and gentle. His parents were at PI and he was wandering around DD bus stop. Could not imagine how scared everyone must have been.
On the bus back to WL, it started raining. Back to Territory Lounge, Reuben, drinks and nachos and wings. Good time again. Not as many drinks this time though.
Rain, hmmm a sign of things to come. Has anybody left to go home yet?
Sunday is tomorrow, maybe they will leave.
