The Starship Covidiot Mayor. Boldly going where no man has gone before.......
Or ever will again.
Or ever will again.
OMG! just love their toast with homemade jam. And of either a Bloody or Mimosa or both. It is my happy spot in Vegas.I love Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Vegas, best breakfast in the world
She does not look like Betty White.
I thought she looked like Angela Lansbury.
I think it’s expected that she would address a situation no matter where the boundaries lie but in a “it’s going to be tough but we will prevail” kind of way not offering us up to be an experiment on a silver platter.I remember back after the 2017 Vegas mass shooting she was spending a lot of time at the podium in the press conferences, even though the shooting happened outside of her jurisdiction. And a lot of the responses to her calls to reopen The Strip note that her office has nothing to do with governance on The Las Vegas Strip.
I felt that way when this all started heating up. My DD was supposed to go to Disneyland with her Honor Choir, her last one with this group. I was really torn but thankfully Disney made the decision for me. FWIW I don’t think we’ll be open in May. Sisolak said a downward trend of 14 days for “phase one” to start. I don’t think the hotels/casinos would be in phase one.I selfishly don’t want the casinos opening in May. My daughter’s volleyball team booked a tournament there next month. I think it’s at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. I have no intention of sending DD. Most of the other parents on the team thought it was fantastic that we might be able to play, especially since some have graduating seniors and they’ve missed out on a lot of experiences due to coronavirus.
She looks like Jeanne Cooper in that screenshot.
I just found it rather disingenuous that she was talking about The Strip when it's not her responsibility. A cynic (and there are a lot of them out there regarding Mayor Goodman #2) would think she's doing this just to get her name in the news.I think it’s expected that she would address a situation no matter where the boundaries lie but in a “it’s going to be tough but we will prevail” kind of way not offering us up to be an experiment on a silver platter.
Oh, no doubt. Both #1 and #2 were/are attention seekers. Vegas tends to not see the townships but as you can see everyone was pretty damn quick to point out she has no authority when it comes to The Strip. I don’t know anyone who takes her seriously.I just found it rather disingenuous that she was talking about The Strip when it's not her responsibility. Don't miss her "I can't possibly go out, *I* have a FAMILY!!!" declaration.
Yes, the Nellie Lovett Angela.
