Well, last night was rough - I ran a really high fever all night I was so cold that my teeth were chattering, which woke DH up so he found me socks and more clothes to put on. I didn't sleep much. It broke sometime early this morning so I'm at home, resting, and I plan to go into work late this afternoon. I really want to be there tonight for a few things. We'll see!
We'll probably have leftover tacos.
Feel better.
Well it is crazy here with the rain and flooding. So far we have had about 4 inches with more to come. It is supposed to rain the rest of the week into the weekend.
The lake behind my office overflowed the banks. Usually it sits about 2 feet below a boardwalk and dock. It is now up over that and the two benches that sit on the boardwalk part. Luckily our building is way above that so no worries that it will flood into the bottom which is where there are two restaurants. On the opposite side there is a small river which also flooded out onto one side of a major road which was shut down.
Dinner tonight will be something with shrimp.
