time with dolphins?

So how much time do you really spend with the dolphins? We were thinking of having DH not do the dolphin part so I am trying to figure out what he could do during that time.

The orientation is about 15min.The swim 25-30.

I'd arm him with a camera, let him watch from the watersedge and hopefully save yourself $50 in photographs LOL.

The dolphin time goes by in a flash.
Send him to the bar for a drink. He'll enjoy watching from the edge. You really can't get close up shots because you're 20 yards or so away from the action. That's why the pro pics look so good, they're right there next to the people. But he'll be close enough to see everything that's going on and even say hi. When you visit SWF, he can touch the dolphins and rays in the Key West area.

Time does fly.The professional photographers do an excellent job and it is worth getting at least one of their pics. However it can run into the hundreds of dollars with all avail. Example: PC CD with 5 photos for $100 $20per additional photo.(They say you have proprietary rights with this so thus the high cost). If I remember correctly, the cheapest pkg. was 29.95. 1 5x7 and snowglobe.
Here is a low res pic of one of our pics, which doesn't do the photo quality justice.

So the price difference is swim or non swim with the dolphins everything else is the same?
Yes you get to do everything else. There is a higher priced trainer for the day and other programs available. The snorkeling lagoon was really neat especially when you are swimming and a hugh school of angelfish surrounds you,you look down and their are hugh rays lying on the bottom turn the corner and you come face to face with cuda staring you down(behind glass of course).DD loved feeding the stingrays(they don't announce the feedings) just happened by and wondered what the commotion was.
The biggest surprise was the aviary. The amount of species of birds and contact with them was wonderful.Wished the aviary at AK Asia was like it.IMHO it would be worth it even if you are not doing the swim.
