Hi all!

This will be my first time in Disneyland. DD 14 and I arrive in Anaheim on Thursday, 6/28 at about 4:00 pm and then fly back to NYC on Monday 7/2.

I am looking for information similar to the " tour-guide" experience I received from Tour Guide Mike for WDW.

Any tips and/or links?

I really appreciate your help!

Side-note DD 14 and I are attending a conference at the Anaheim Convention Center and we are staying at the Anaheim Hilton.

I am beyond excited!! :cool1:

You would probably get more responses posting in the Disneyland forum (for planning) as opposed to the Disneyland Community forum (where we may talk about anything).

I suggest reading Hydroguy's DLR Guide for WDW Vets http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1162599

I've never been to WDW and I don't know what Mike is exactly, but I'm not really sure there is anything very accurate to give you a minute by minute schedule. There is Ridemax but I don't know how it is now that the entire DLR has been turned upside down with the opening of CL and BVS. I feel like all my traditional ways of touring the parks may not work and I'm rethinking them now based on what I read here from people who are at the parks now. The best I can suggest is reading the posts about early entry RSR FPs.

The TGM DLR equivilent is Touring Plans. At DLR, TP is not very good and seems to be better in WDW. With the current changes in park crowd movements due to the opening of Cars Land I've noticed thier predictions of crowds and such are terrible. In general they make a lot of mistakes and I would not suggest using it.

There is a computer program that works well to help you create a plan. It's called ridemax.

You may want to forgo these and use a free app like Disney's Mobile Magic, or one which is just ok(though I've noticed it's very error filled lately), Mousewait.
