So our daughter is getting to WDW 3 days earlier with a 8 day pass, and she is joining us with 5 day passes at another hotel, and I can not seem to get her on the next hotel because they said all parties must have the same pass, Any way around this

Either add her to the reservation at the second hotel after you have checked in or make the second reservation "room-only" and purchase your 5 day tickets separately.

You should be able to get her on the next hotel if you make it a room only reservation. Just buy your tickets separately from either Disney or an outside vendor like Undercover Tourist.

There is no way around the package rules -- all guests booked on a package must have the same components (room, ticket type and length, dining yes/no). However, you can add her to your room.

The simplest way is to just add her when you arrive and check-in. Since it sounds like she will already be at WDW, she presumably does not need ME from the airport on your arrival day. So simply stop at the front desk at have her added to your reservation. If there are already 2 adults on the reservation, you will need to pay the extra adult fee for the nights she stays with you. If she will need ME at check-out, be sure to get her added to that as well.

Another option is to modify your reservation -- changing to a room-only and buying tickets separately.

Enjoy your vacation!

I have a package and rooms are sold out so nothing I can do to save fast passes and not spend a lot of money. Should have known better than to book a package. Let me say I did explain this to the reservation specialist when booking and they were no help at all and gave me the worst advice possible

Then simply keep things as is and add her to your room when you arrive at the second hotel. As long as you aren't above room capacity, it won't be an issue. If you need DME for her on that reservation, you can set it up after you add her to the room.

can she make fast passes at 60 days without being on the reservation for the second hotel. The option they are giving me is to buy a 3 day ticket plus a 6 day ticket which is double the cost of a 9 day ticket as the only way to get on the second reservation in advance

It's been a year, so things may have changed. But, I have always been able to make a FP for anyone on my Friends & Family list with a ticket in MDE at my 60 day mark. That included my friends who were staying in their offsite timeshare. They were not on my onsite reservation. I don't know if this a loophole that has been closed since I last did this in April 2019, but it has worked for me in the past.

I am hoping someone comments on this as I am in the same boat. My DD and her DBF have a package booked onsite and the 60day mark is tomorrow. I have an annual pass and due to timing they can't change to a room only reservation. (their package has cdn tickets on it and you can't buy those separately anymore) So they are going to add me at check in but I am hoping they allow my DD to make FP+ reservations for all 3 of us. I have heard that it is not likely but have not heard from anyone who has done it before. so waiting patiently...……:rolleyes1

Sorry, you can't do that any longer.

can she make fast passes at 60 days without being on the reservation for the second hotel.
She probably cannot book her full stay at 60 days from her first check-in date, and will need to split her FP+ booking -- first 3 days, then the rest with you.

Assuming her first resort stay is onsite (or qualifies for 60-day FP), she can book those 3 days of FP+ herself at 60-days from her first check-in.

For the 2nd part of her stay (in your room), she can be included in FP+ with your party once your 60-day window opens. I believe as long as 1) she is listed or linked to your MDE account, and 2) someone else on your reservation is also getting the same FP+, she can be included. She can't book completely separate FP+ from the rest of you, but she can be included with your party.

Check the FP FAQ sticky at the top of this forum: https://www.disboards.com/threads/fastpass-frequently-asked-questions.3491680/ this is from post #3:
Note: If offsite guests are linked to or listed on accounts of onsite guests above, they share the onsite guests' booking window of 60 days.

Enjoy your vacation!
