I have that military discount ... my question is does the total have to be $100 (after the discounts) or before the discounts?

I personally don't know, DH didn't try to use them at the same time when offered. Read the fine print on the Military though, it may exclude gift cards.

Unfortunately yes. It was a while ago. But, keep watching this thread to see if they resurface. I've gotten 10% a couple times directly through Best Buy and got 20% off $100 but that was through a Chase offer.
