The Children's museum in Indy is awesome as is Holiday World. If your family is into cave tours and hiking there is Marengo caves at marengo In wyndotte caves near levenworth IN Squire boone caverns at mauckport IN and another 1 that just recently opened at Corydon IN which is maybe 60 miles or less from Holiday World has several hotels and many restaurants. Corydon is also the 1st State Capital with lots of history there.
30 miles east is The Falls of the Ohio State Park you can go out on the old river fossil beds on the OHIO River fall is usually the best time to go the drier the summer the more the river is down the more you can go down the falls.

DH and I are looking for vacation ideas for the summer. If we were going to Branson, where would you recommend we fly into? We have a ton of SW points to use, so I think our options would be St.Louis, Memphis, Little Rock, Nashville. We have relatives in Bloomington, IN and outside of Louisville, KY. Would it be possible to go visiting, then drive to Branson, or is that just too far to consider?
