Hi guys,

I hope you can help!

We are going in a couple of weeks and I wondered if anyone knows if they cater for a vegetarian diet there?
We aren't vegetarian, but as Muslims I know they won't have halal food so vegetarian will be the safest option for us.
Any help will be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hey there Mulan1. I`ll be visiting the parks next week and will update my blog on this topic thereafter. When are you visiting? I will try to update before you hit the parks. Hopefully that will help you. I understand how you feel as I have a lot of Muslim friends that visit from Singapore and Malaysia. It is tough finding Halal food in Japan.

I believe you might have a hard time finding much that will fill your stomach. Most vegetarian options I saw was either with a meat/seafood dish, fruit, a dessert, a salad, or a baked good. Although I did find the Mickey waffles to be quite filling for one person but it was sweet with ice cream, azuki beans, and syrup.

There are a couple buffets with more vegan friendly offerings but it can be quite expensive going to buffets for every meal.

I suggest looking through the Japanese website as they list their foods on it and use Google translate to get a rough idea what there is to offer and plan your meals so you don't have to eat at the same place.

Tomato pasta and pesto pasta is being offered at East Side Cafe on Tokyo Disneyland side. A light salad as well.

Yes thank you! One question I have is regarding breakfast. In a lacto ovo vegetarian and am trying to figure out the best options for breakfast. We are staying 3 nights at miracosta and 3 at the Disneyland hotel. What types of breakfast options are available in the hotels that we could eat prior to park opening? Are any of these options vegetarian?
Thanks!
