Vehicle that Accommodates Two Scooters?

We are going to the World in November and will be renting two scooters. My Mom will be using hers all the time we are there--I will be using mine on long trips (like all day excursions to Epcot) especially if my fibro flares up. We'll be staying at Saratoga Springs so will have access to Disney transportation, but I am concerned about getting to certain places at certain times and was thinking of renting a car or van to have the flexibility of not having to rely on the Disney busses. My issue is how to get the scooters in to the vehicle. Based on experience here, even though my Mom's scooter breaks down I am not capable of picking up the pieces and putting them in the car myself-it is too heavy and bulky. Would it be possible to rent a van that has some type of ramp where we could either ride or push the scooter up into the van?

I just don't have any experience with this. Whenever we have had to transport her scooter in the past I have either had DBF with me to help or was at a place where a valet was available to help me take it in and out of the car. I'm really flummoxed with the thought of dealing with two scooters.

Any ideas?

some rental vans accomodate 2 scooters. I guess it would depend on the size of the scooters. The rental place would likely have suggestions.

if you check in the disABILITIES FAQs thread, post #3 has some links that might be helpful to you - there are some companies listed there that rent ramps.
One of the problems may be that some vans don't have a straight shot in the back. Some might have a lip to go over from the inside when getting the ECVs out. The van and ramp rental places should be able to help with that.
