Been a minute since I've posted here, but I've always had such amazing assistance and responses from everyone here when asking a random Disney question. A family member is gifting my family a VIP Tour Experience for our trip next Spring. We have AP and own short-term rental properties in Orlando so we go a lot, but this is something we've never used. This trip is also special as it will be our final trip to Disney as our family is currently constructed. My oldest will be getting married in 2022 and my second oldest will be heading off to college next fall. We'll go from a family of 7 at home (have 3 boys that are 10-13) to 5 basically overnight. We're going to do 3 park days with 1 off-site day. We're staying in one of our short-term rental houses so we're staying off-property.
My question is has anyone done one of these tours and what was your experience? Obviously, we've seen them out in the parks, but not really sure what to expect. My follow up question is how should we utilize this service? We're planning to spend 1 full park day in MK, 1 full park day in either AK or DHS and spending the 3rd park day park hopping between Epcot and either AK or DHS (whichever we didn't spend the full day in). We have the tour guide for 7 hours and from my understanding you get priority in lines with them as well as park-to-park transportation. I'm trying to decide if we're better off using this service for a park that has long waits for headliner attractions like DHS or a park that has so many attractions like MK or on a park hopping day to maximize our experiences between two parks. For context, we're going in late March for Spring Break so crowds will be pretty bad according to Touring Plans projections. Can't wait to hear the feedback on this one! TIA
