Just got back from a short trip...it was great!

When I checked in I got a YELLOW room key. The box she took it out of said VIP and she told me I was a VIP. When I asked what they meant she couldn't tell me! I asked concierge the next day...they said the same thing. I was a VIP.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? I thought it might be "disney code" for renter (which I am not but my membership is under my old name and I checked in under my married name) but no the box did say VIP? Any idea?

PS Did you know you can't put all caps in a title on the DIS?

were you staying at a DVC resort with concierge level? if so, I suspect that they simply were short of the standard keys that day and anyone checking in became a magical VIP ;)

No...concierge...and no there were stacks of regular cards. The CM took the reglar cards out of the printer and put in the yellow ones.

Did they do anything special for you?
If not I would suspect it meant you were an ordinary VIP :lmao:
