We just got home from our Disney Honeymoon!

We just arrived home Sunday night and I hope to have our trip report up by next week...just a little taste for you though-
Hotel: wilderness lodge
Restaurants: Le Celliear, Brown Derby, Artist Point, Chef Mickeys, Yachtsman, Concourse Steakhouse, Plaza, Whispering Canyon, Flying Fish...
Overall thoughts: we had a fabulous time...

I'm very interested in the WL. My husband and I went to Dixie for our honeymoon and 2nd honeymoon for the last 2 years. Next year, it's WL for our 3rd honeymoon. What I'm very concerned about is the OVERWHELMING negative remarks I've been reading about the transportation. Please tell me something positive.

My husband and I just got back Sunday night and despite Thanksgiving crowds, we were happy with all of the Disney transportation. We stayed at Coronado this time but we have traveled from WL in past trips and things were just fine. We really enjoyed the boat trip from the Magic Kingdom to the Lodge. It IS really hard to travel from WL to non-park locations, (You have to bus to the TTC and catch another bus) but this is the case at all resorts. We usually rent a car so that we have more freedom. You can get deals at Budget through this site. If you are going soon- yea! you'll be blown away by the holiday decor at the Lodge. It's amazing! Have fun!

Thanks for the prompt reply. I needed some reassurance. I made a search and read so many different opinions that I'm convinced I'll just have to try it for myself!! No, I won't be there for the holidays. I like to plan way in advance. Late summer/early fall is when I'll be there. Thanks!
