Weird Disneyland Christmas Question

I love the new Christmas Believe show...was wondering if anyone knew who sings the version of White Christmas at the end of the show when it's snowing. If so, where can I find it? I'd like to get ahold of the entire narration recording during the show....Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks and Happy Holidays

Nice to see I am not the only one who loves that version! :) As for the Christmas CD Christa is referring to...I did look at it hoping it would be on there but it is a collection of Chrismtas Carols sung by the Disneyland Carolers and did not include "White Christmas" or any of the Believe recording. There is also another "single" you can buy there which has the recording of the Holiday Small World. It has the song the children sing inside as well as the chimes and fanfare that can be heard outside...a very cool little CD but unfortunately no Believe! :( Oh well...I'll keep searching and post when I find anything. Checked Napster too and they have a "Disney" version of White Christmas but not the one heard in the park. My search continues!

disneydork, I grabbed 2 versions on napster, one was "Xmas - Disney - White Christmas" and the other "Disney-I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas", they were both very different versions.

Hey Steve....thanks for the info! Are either of the versions sung by a woman? I know the version played in the park is sung by a woman. This would be a good indicator. Thanks for your help again...I really hope we can find the answer to this one!

Dreamin' of a Disney Christmas....10 days to go!

Has anyone checked in the little store on the right hand side of Main Street heading into the park that has only video and music Disney stuff? (I think it is called 20th Century Music or something like that.) Perhaps they have the soundtrack there, they seemed to have every other dang Disney music and video item that was ever made (like the music from the Stage Door Cafe show, the marimba band in Adventure Land, jazz in NOS, etc.) not to mention all the videos. Perhaps they might know the answer to the question there?
:)

What Disney will most likely do is pack the song, if at all, into the next Theme Park CD, so you have to buy all the songs you already have again to get it.

I got stuck when I wanted the "Light Magic" parade song.

If you cant wait, Bing Crosby sings a good White Christmas; Elvis does a good Blue Christmas :)

Thought Santa might have brought an answer to this one....anyone know a castmember who would be clued into this one? Thanks for all your responses...it's nice to know I can stump all of you wonderful Disney Experts who have supplied all of us with so much great information all year. Merry Christmas DIS!

Hi Disdork,

I dont think you stumped anyone :)

In summary, the songs are not available, but may be in the future.

My prediction is if they are, it will be in a collection of Disneyland park music, which Disney re-hashes every few years with a couple of changes.

The collection includes songs from the rides, parades, and attactions.

Whoa there Calbay, don't worry, I was suggesting that I might have stumped some of the Disney experts as a compliment. They weren't fightin' words. :)

In any case, I do thank you for your input and am sure you are right in terms of Disney releasing the song on one of their "park music" albums at a later date. I simply asked the question because I faintly recognized the woman's voice who was singing and thought it might be a version of the song that would have been released by the artist herself. Then again...it is Disney, god forbid they would ever use something not copyrighted by them in their parks, heh.

Happy New Year everyone!

"Sorry it came across that way?"

In the same statement that suggested I might have stumped the Disney experts on this board, I also thanked them for all the information they give us all year long and wished them a Merry Christmas. If you see that as initiating a fight...I'll be reluctant to compliment anyone around here. Thanks for the warning.

Your responses came across just fine. I just didn't want you thinking that I was insulting the collective Disney knowledge of everyone on this board by suggesting I stumped anyone. If I was interested in fighting over Disney related information I'd probably take it up with the pin traders, hehe. :D My spouse is one so I have reason. ;)

Anyway, all in fun....I'm currently at the world having a blast.

EDIT: Sorry, just realized this was an old thread. Oh well - maybe the link’s still useful :-).
Is this what everyone’s looking for?
