Welcome, Foolish Muggles! IoA/US/MK/SW *July 2013 Trip Report Link*

I like how you tell us all your money saving secrets on park tickets and the like. How did you choose your transportation company from MCO to Portafino?

Are you using All Ears, the Dis Boards or Mouse Savers for tips and info?

Where else are you getting your discount info??

~ Marlton Mom

Thanks for joining the party!

The transportation company was one that was recommended in the Universal forum on the DIS. There is a whole sticky of transportation info between MCO and US and US and Disney.

Most of my info comes here from the DIS/Universal Boards but that damn last minute Sea World thing was from the Passporter website. I do get the Mousesavers newsletter/Undercover Tourist e-newsletter monthly, too

Man, what is it with you people and food porn!!! ~ Marlton Mom

My family is used to me screaming "Stop! Don't eat that!" until I stick the camera between their mouths and their plates.

Well that's cause YOU weren't there!!!

What she said!

Paul Noodle here.

Yeah! My first non-human follower!

OK, I'll read it, but I won't like it. Still can't believe you didn't spend at least one night back at home (BC)!!!

Yay glad I didn't miss anything yet!!! Can't wait to read about your trip at the other park!!

Looking forward to reading your TR. Love the title! Oldest DD and I spent one day at IOA, but we mainly focused on WWoHP.

I'm in, Dee. And yes, it is very, very wrong to use your Disney Visa to purchasde tickets to that other park. ;) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Marlton Mom, thanks for the link (although it did not work for me? :confused3).

Dee, I am here and cannot wait to read. My kids are so little that I know this trip is a long way off for me so I am going to live vicariously through you!

And I think using your Disney Visa just shows where your loyalty is!

Thanks for joining in and for your comments about the title. I think I came up with it at MK.

My second place title was "Universal Charms but the Mouse is More Magical"

Hey, using the Disney Visa earned me $5.80 to put toward MK tickets!

My kids were almost exactly the right age for these parks. Nate is now a rollercoaster junkie, but there are still several things Ben refuses to ride.

I fixed it so now she should get enough hits for a whole drawer full of the Ginsu's

I'm here Dee...and looking forward to your trip report!! Welcome back. Can't wait to hear what you have to say about US/IOA. My family went there for 2 days during our Disney trip in 2005. I'll wait to comment on our thoughts until I read yours. My kids would love to visit the WWOHP. Before we went to WDW last August (remember Flat Dee came to our DIS Meet!) our kids were saying I can't believe we aren't seeing HP since it just opened (and I told them that's exactly why...the crowds were crazy!).

Anyway...I'm buckled up and ready for the ride....

I'm checking in as a fellow BC enthusiast and looking forward to your report.

I really enjoyed your last one! We are heading to BCV in August and I'm trying to see how I can squeeze in a day @ IOA.

I'm checking in too! We will be arriving at Universal for two night in just three weeks, before our Beach Club stay. Can't wait to read your trip report!!!

Dee,

We're here with all the others waiting for the details of "the place that cannot be named" trip report. Glad you made it back. Hope you have time to rest up before you sit down to put it all out there for all of us to see.

Glad to have you here! Can you believe it is time for Flat Dee to take another trip! I have to get in gear if I am going to make it to the meet on July 25.

Thanks for coming! Have you checked the website for Dreams Unlimited? They were offering a deal for around $120 for a one day admission that includes transportation to/from Disney resorts and US/IoA.

I should be able to get some helpful information into the trip before you go, but if not, we can talk privately.

Joining in! Marlton Mom gave quite the announcement (advertisement) on the BC/YC thread! :)

Ya think? That was so nice of her! She is now the unofficial spokesperson of Natebenma Trip Reports*

I'm here from the YC/BC thread too. :) Looking forward to your report!

:wave2: Thanks!

Dee,

I'll try to get to the "good stuff" as soon as I can. I appreciate you following along!

Can't wait to read your report. We are planning on spending a day at IOA on our upcoming December trip, still debating on adding Universal. We (myself and my mother) are mostly going to see Harry Potter world and are dragging my husband and 2 daughters along for the day.

Another person following Marlton Mom's directions over here!!!

Looking forward to your report - we too are planning a day on the "dark side". Especially after seeing the last movie, my kids cannot imagine a trip to Orlando without going to see WWoHP...
