What are crowd levels like at MK on mornings of a party night?

trying to decide on skipping MK for the day, or if the mornings are less busy and we should spend the morning there.

Historically party days are the very best days to visit the MK as many people stay away due to the reduced hours. This was our experience for many years and it's been widely reported in the MNSSHP thread to have been the same this year.

We went to MK on the day of a MNSSHP this august and crowds were incredibly light! It was seriously fantastic and would have been more enjoyable if it wasn’t like the surface of the sun outside. We must have walked on the buzz Lightyear ride 6 times in a row (that’s what happens with a 3-year-old haha). I would absolutely get to the park at opening and stay as long as you can before the party starts.

We were there earlier this month and it really depends on the day of the week, or did for us. We went on a Friday and crowds were incredibly light, had low crowd levels until we left early afternoon. We went back on Sunday, and it was very crowded, like a normal busy park day.

We went on both Tuesday and Thursday both party days and crowds were light until about noon. After that, it got fairly busy. Hour or more waits on the popular rides.

We went to Magic Kingdom on a MNSSHP day last month and despite it being Labor Day, the park felt empty and lines were a breeze. An important factor is that we rope dropped early theme park entry at 7:30 AM.

We did the morning of a party and it was great. Without rushing around we rode a lot of rides, had lunch it was great. Lower crowds for sure.

Your experience may vary, but when we went in September party days had low MK crowds. That can change on any given day.

We did MK last Tue, Oct 4, a party night. Got there at 7:45ish and had finished all Fantasyland (included 7DMT) by late morning without LL. After lunch watched parade, we had LL for PPF. Pirates was down all day and Splash had quite a while down as well. Those two things started creating bottlenecks as people were flocking to other attractions so it did start to feel busy towards about 2pm.

I was there Oct. 6th during the day on a party day. Touring Plans called it a 3/10 crowd and they day before on a non-party day it was a 7/10 crowd. Seemed about right to me.

We were in MK on October 5th...a non-party night. Thought the crowds would be lighter. WOW, were we ever wrong...so crowded!!!
We did take advantage of early arrival at 7:30am (arrived at 7:00 and headed to the Tomorrow Land bridge) and had achieved many of the rides that morning before the park got too crowded. We stayed until 11:00pm and were able to do almost all the rides, along with Genie+. We even had two nice sit down meals, adventured on Sawyer Island, and saw most of the parade. So even with the crowds, we did alright.

Yes party days are less crowded and the other side is true too. The non-party days are much more crowded as people think they are getting ripped off if they have to leave at 6 on the party days.

We were there during the day on the first party day in August. It was absolutely incredible. Basic no waits except the most popular rides, but more importantly, return times on Genie+ which were near immediate. By 5pm, crowds started building as party guests came in, so we left. But we had done so much that it was worth every single penny even with shorter hours.

Lower crowds on party days until about 4-ish or when party goers can come in with their tickets. Crazy until non-party guests are kicked out.
