I thought of this thread when I saw this article today. It seems like, when things go well, it's great; whereas, if there's a problem, it can be very difficult to deal with.

I still think it is all related to pesticides somehow.

There's been a few stories where the determination was pesticide poisoning, and other stories where it sounds like tainted alcohol. There have also been a couple stories where the illness was attributed to salmonella, but no way to know if that's truly the case. Its possible more than one nefarious thing is going on, or even that some of the illnesses were truly isolated because they drank the water or just had an unintentional food poisoning.
