What is it about Disney that makes us all love it so much?

Does anyone else know why they love Disney so much. I know I love it because, to me, I feel a child like happiness when I'm there. Anyone else?

WDW stirs up so many good emotions and feelings inside for me. I love going with my family, having fun, enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells. The atmosphere is consistent with my idea of the perfect place. There are stories of good vs evil with good fundamental lessons to be learned in each. I know that there is no such thing as the perfect place and that there is not always a happy ending, but the escape to WDW makes dealing with the real world a little easier.

And of course WDW represents "one man's dream" and encourages us all to dream and then pursue it. Sometimes dreams do come true.

I think it's the only place I have ever been where I have NEVER heard a raised voice, NEVER heard anyone shouting at their kids, don't even think I have seen a baby crying - how peaceful is that??

It's like walking into a fantasy world, you forget all your worries you wear a big stupid grin on your face all day long and you just love it.

It's like a time machine for me.....:D

It's an escape, and it is a family time capsule for me--so many wonderful memories.

It is the Magic....You feel it when you step or drive onto the property and it does not leave you the entire time you are there...

I wish I could put it into words.
I remember one time, strolling through Epcot hand-in-hand early one morning, and my husband said...

"It feels so good just being here, I think they pump the air full of happy gas."

WOW!! WDW has so many memories for me, we spent our honemoon there, I found out I was going to have may son while I was there on my 5th wedding anniversary, and we have taken our son every year since he was 1 and a half and he is seven now.

Besides the memories - to me WDW is a place where the real world does not exist, there is no bad news to hear, everyone is happy and there are no problems. Life there is care free, would'nt it be great if the entire world were more like WDW? I become so sad when it is time to go home, I widh I could stay there forever - but that would really be a fairytale. we go every summer and I have always wanted to see it at Christmas - so we are spending Christmas there this year I am so excited. I can only imagine how WDW will be during this wonderful time of year.

I tease my husband often and tell him when we retire we are going to work at WDW - that would be fun not work.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :jester: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :bounce: :jester: :bounce: :Pinkbounc

It's the only place I can go and forget EVERYTHING for a while. :Pinkbounc When I go to the beaches for a vacation, I still have "things" running through my brain. Yeaaaaaaaaa, Disney! ;)

It's the magic and the attention to detail! I was blown away by the gardening details and decor the first time I visited 20 years ago!

<font face="tempus sans itc" color=purple size=4> Disney inspires the innocent and creative part of myself to make wishes and believe they will come true :earsgirl: I love Disney because I believe in the magic and the power of making wishes... and I love Disney because the imagination is exalted to it's highest power of good... See how that is?

Where else can we sit in the middle of a pirate battle, catch a dinosaur, travel around the world in a day, visit a ghostly ball, meet a mermaid and fly with an elephant??? When you go to Disney World you are 10 again and everything is ok with the world. Fairy tales and pixie's are real and mice talk. There are fireworks every night and 100's of restaurants to choose from. It is a fantsyland!

I'm convinced that I am Disney brainwashed! Disney is a drug and I am the junkie!

It really is an escape from reality...when I'm there I'm not worrying about the bills back home or the housework that awaits my return.

It's a fantasy vacation, one that I can't get enough of!

For me it is because when I pull into WDW I have NO STRESS. It all just disapears. Also, I can be totally independent, I come and go as I please. Do whatever I want. I love to see the excitement in Seth's eyes, and just plain having fun

It has been my experience that they will do whatever they have to do to make you happy, and there are very few places you can go where that is the case.

I love WDW because it is such a relaxing place for me. I can forget about everything going on at home and just enjoy myself.

I love DL because it is my 2nd home - I have spent so much time there as I have grown up, that it just feels so comfortable and natural to be there, whether I am on an attraction or simply people watching and enjoying a meal or shopping with my friends.

And I love Disney in general because it just makes me happy. :)
