What is the most exciting thing you have done through work?

I got to ride on the Goodyear blimp and take my dad who always dreamed of riding in a blimp since he was a kid.

Conference in San Diego. DH & DS tagged along. We paid their airfare, food and other expenses. My airfare, food and the hotel was paid for. We did a lot of fun things when I wasn’t working.

Flew on a private jet. I understand why those that can do.

Responsible for creating catering event menus and service for some of the most famous and richest executives/CEOs in the world.

Starting to think about it more, and once I was working at a large Silicon Valley company and we had a company event (in the "company park") where we had a performance by Huey Lewis and the News. They also handed out free CDs of their greatest hits, although those were the typical ones where they cut into the case and sleeve so they couldn't be resold.

Guilty on all counts verdict in my first murder trial. I was working with a much more seasoned prosecutor, but he was a spree killer. He was sentenced to 150 to life and the appellate courts upheld the conviction and sentence.

When I've told people the facts of the case, they were shocked it wasn't national news. Sadly, I had to point out that when crime happens in a low income area known for elevated crime levels and the victims were also from that area, even local media barely cares after an arrest is made.

I wrote a public service announcement while working at major non-profit that was read by an Olympic athlete. I even got to watch her film it. I was a PR intern and still in college at the time. Now it seems kind of sad that that's the most exciting thing I ever did!

I guess being on the PR team during the acquisition of a major company by another was a highpoint as well. I was just a lowly PR Specialist, proofing the documents, running them around the company for approvals, inputting the changes, etc. The hardest part was keeping it confidential from the rest of the company. The other PR Specialist and I had to lock ourselves into our shared office and put paper over the windows because people kept trying to figure out what we were doing. We also left the office everyday at lunch for a week just to keep people from asking us a bunch of questions that we weren't allowed to answer.
