What is the most frustrating thing you are currently dealing with?

Hives...

I have no idea what triggered it, but OMG I was miserable most of last week. Thankfully they seem to be going away. They are no longer swollen, and most of the "angry looking" redness has faded out. I *think* this issue is over, but I do not want it to happen again.

Work. Both in the entertainment industry and my survival job. Its rough.

My theatre company is also looking into a new space-we have the last bit of this year and our big production planned out its just getting a space.

I have been recovering from a foot injury and subsequent surgery. I was on crutches for 2 months over the summer. Had to cancel a vacation, not able to go swimming etc. This summer was no fun for our family.
We were looking fwd to our WDW vacation.
I have been doing well with PT.
I woke up yesterday and my foot is swollen and painful and I can hardly weight bear as I have been.
Doc says to RICE and call him back tomorrow.
We leave on Tues for our trip.
Fingers crossed its not any type. of complication and I just needed to slow down.

Sprained (hopefully not fractured) ankle that happened while I was filling in for my son's soccer coach. Only 2 kids showed for practice, so I was playing 2v1 in sneakers on wet grass.

My father-in-law had a stroke this afternoon, and has a brain bleed. He was air lifted from our local hospital to a larger one. My husband is on his way there with his two sisters and their stepmother. He is keeping me posted but I feel so bad that I’m not there with him. I’m on an island and the last ferry has left for the night. I’m praying for him. That is all I can do right now.😢

Work is falling apart. Seems every time they fix something to go faster, the machines revolt and get slower. Debating on a new job I've been offered. Much smaller upstart company. Positive side would be a few old coworkers are already there and can vouch for the place being what they say they are. But change is hard and leaving somewhere you have been for over 10 years is scary.

And then there is my home construction. My contractor started working on my place in February and did very little over the summer and seems to have quit completely. So now we have to work with a lawyer in order to find out what we can do next to get our money back and / or get our house finished.

I know the ups and downs of recovering from an injury. Plays on the mind. I hope you recover soon.

Someone I’m close to is dealing with addiction. It’s still in the manageable and functioning stage, so it’s impossible to tell them its a problem. They lie about it and I hate the deception and not being able to trust them. I fear for their health long term and I’m so disappointed. There’s just a lot of feelings here.

Probably not going about it correctly.
My feet are shot after so many decades of working on them. Even wearing the best orthopedic shoes, I still have horrible pain that shoots up my legs and back. Just being on my feet for any length of time now causes me issues. So I guess according to you, I am not being upright correctly.

Nothing as bad as previous posters but I'm so frustrated with my husband's employees thinking they can just not show up for work whenever they feel like it. How hard is it to send a text saying "I can't make it today," preferrably with enough notice for us to find someone else. Then apparently the ones who do show up think it's a free for all and they can steal and do whatever they want while they're on the clock. Sent 20 employees to an event this weekend. 5 actually made it there, 3 of those got fired. One for harassing female guests, 2 for taking money to let people into the venue without tickets. Another one wasn't allowed to work because he brought his dog?????? Guess whose company won't be asked to provide staff for that venue any more.

Waiting for DS to get medically discharged from the Army. The medical issue started in April, took 3 months to get diagnosis, another 2 months to start med board process. Hoping to have a discharge date in another month. Will be glad to get him home and in with the specialist he needs to see. We are lucky that we are near the University of Michigan Hospital and they have the specialist he needs.
