I have an Excel spreadsheet sitting in front of my with September's hours..and I am having a hard time deciding where to go and when. This will be our 10th trip together and I never have had an issue in the past. I usually get the hours and EMHs and have my plan ready within a day.

My ADRs can be made March 23.

Has this ever happened to you? If so, what did you do?

TIA

go to the food porn pictures & feast my eyes...then study menus...then I'm in the mood to plan.

We're getting to the point we have gone to most Disney restaurants, so now I'm just trying to shoe-horn in the last few we haven't been to yet. Any more, we're pretty low-key at the parks & more about people-watching, relaxing & enjoying the restaurants & shows.

Very good tip. Thanks so much.:thumbsup2

I have a dream of trying all the restaurants at WDW. I also have some favorites that we try to get to each trip. I suggest going to a few new restaurants and revisiting some old favs!

Great tip! I made a list of restaurants we have never been to and started there. Thanks

March 23 is my date too. I am getting soooo excited :cool1:

Very cool!!

OH..and I went back and looked at the food porn and laughed at my pics from last October..and got hungry.

I have to make my ADRs tomorrow AM, and I'm sooooooooo not ready. I can't get my DH to nail down a plan with me, so I've been asking random questions on these boards. I still have so many decisions to make, like BBB or not, to go to a park on MNSSHP day or not, etc.

Sorry to hear you are stuck too, but misery loves company;)

I asked DH too and he said "You always do such a great job. I trust your opinion" Yeah, well thanks for your input there.

I don't know about BBB (no kids except for the small white furkids you see in my avatar:rotfl:) but we have been doing MNSSHP for the last few years. I have done it after going to a park all day, I have done it where we slept in/went for a meal/hung out by the pool/went to DTD, and I have done it where we slept in and did a waterpark. Options 2 & 3 worked best for us. Not that option #1 didn't work..we just were so tired that we left earlier. We have also gone to MNSSHP mid- September/late September/late October, and the earlier in the year, the less busy it is and the more you can do.

Hope this helps..

OH..and as far as the ADRs go, I made a list of the ones we wanted to go back to and the new ones I wanted to try..then wrote them on post it notes and I am moving them around on a piece of paper. I made a row for each day we are there and columns like, date, EMH, Fireworks/Events, Park Plans (on or offsite, etc.) and meal(s). So far, I have half the trip planned.

It was hard to make the plan not knowing the days of HHN and the times for BMG. We are planning lots of extras, including SeaWorld, Universal, Aquatica, Busch Gardens, the Behind the Magic tour, MNSSHP, Blue Man Group and Halloween Horror Nights. We are staying at a Deluxe resort (Wilderness Lodge) for the first time. SO..here is the plan for our trip (fingers crossed).

Sept 19 (arrival day) Narcoosee's 7:00
Sept 20 Tusker House 9:30/Yak and Yeti 1:00/Yachtsman Steak House 6:00
Sept 21 Whispering Canyon 7:15/Tokoyo Dining 12:00/Ohana's 5:30
Sept 22 Kona 8:00/Ragland Road
Sept 23 The Wave 8:00/Citricos 6:00
Sept 24 CRT 8:00/Teppan Edo 12:00
Sept 25 H&V 12:00/Artist Point 6:00
Sept 26 Ohana 8:00
Sept 27 WC 8:00/Flying Fish 6:00
Sept 28 Kouzzina 8:00/CG 8:45
Sept 29 YY 12:00/Le Cellier 7:00
Sept 30 CP 8:00/Marrakesh 1:00/Tutto Italia 6:30
Oct 1 (return day) NOT sure..early lunch somewhere not in a park..ideas?

I really didn't want to try Hollywood and Vine, but DH does, so I will humour him. The new restaurants for us this trip include: H&V, Kouzzina, Marrakesh and Ohana (been there for dinner before, but not breakfast).

That's how my Disney OCD started...not being able to make a decision and when I do I second guess it. :upsidedow
I made all my ADRs already and I still stare at them, thinking about whether I should change something.

I totally understand! This is the first year I have had "ADR writer's block". This will be the fourth trip for me and the kiddos (11 and 15). We also wrote down all the restaurants we haven't been to, and each picked one favorite that we wanted to revisit. I had a really hard time figuring out how to make everything work. I can make ADR's Tuesday, and I still had one meal up in the air. I finally gave the kids a list of choices and had them choose. I am a little sad, because this is ususally the part of the vacation planning that I get really excited over...and this year I am just so "blah" about it.

Btw, O'Hana has a GREAT breakfast. It is the one thing DD15 wants to do every year!

Im glad im not the only one. Its been killing me I have almost every thing ready im only missing days and times for the park going in mid oct. come on april lol...

Now that I have all this free time to think about dinning again im think hmmm I like to try that place or kids wouldnt mine getting up at 7am lol

OMG I totally agree.:rotfl:..I just booked ours this morning and I am already second guessing them :confused3, even though I know they are the ones my DD really wants to do

Lizboo - that plan is AWESOME! So jealous - you're going to have a great time even if you only get some of those ADRs.

Thanks everybody:cool1:

We SO look forward to our fall trip. Hubby has a second job and is also in a band is not here almost every weekend for months. We started putting that money aside (calling it Mickey money) and used it for a vacation alone together as kind of a reconnection after such a busy period in our lives.

I hope everyone gets over their writers block like I did and has great luck with their ADRS.:wizard::wizard:

LOL! I thought I was going crazy because I was having such a hard time planning for our next trip. I did't know it was just ADR writers block! :rotfl:

We are going with DD & DSIL for the first time & I feel responsible for them having a great time. Trying to plan enough without them feeling rushed or pressured to get it all done. I also didn't want them thinking I was crazy for wanting to know where they wanted to eat 6 months in advance. But they are very understanding & gave me all their input in time for me to make our ADRs this week. :thumbsup2

Now to get up early tomarrow & give the online ressies my best shot . :goodvibes

OK..so I need one ADR on our departure date. Our flight leaves at 2:45, so we were thinking pack up the car and have an early lunch and then head to the airport. DH wants to avoid going to a park, so we are looking for a place at a resort or DTD.

What about Wolfgang Pucks at DTD. I have eaten at several of his restaurants and all visits were very good.

I always recommend the Wolfgang Puck Express (over the Cafe) for Downtown Disney dining...but too "bad" you don't need an ADR for it.

I made the ADRs and I got all of them!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:The biggest variation in time was an hour for FF, but that's OK. I am so excited!!
