I have done just food before as well...
Has anybody got any suggestions for this years photo's?
I love taking them but have run out of inspiration.:confused3

You could take a mascot or something abstract and take photos of that around the world.

A lady who I worked with was once given a Marrow by their neighbours, they did not like marrow and were getting ready to go on holiday and realised their neighbours were feeding their pets & plants and would see the uneaten marrow so they took it to France with them ! They went on to take pictures of the marrow on holiday.

I know you can't take food like that but something a bit odd could be fun.

Or you could get pictures of CMs in their different costumes etc..

that is a brilliant idea to take something weird/abstract to take photo's with...will get my thinking cap on...Love that. :thumbsup2

Please note, I am not condoning theft in this post.

Usually in the tabloids in the summer on really low news days, they often have a report about how Pub friends have "borrowed" a Gnome or something simmilar from a friends guarde, taken it on holiday and had photos taken and postcards sent home from the gnome.

As with PP, maybe taking something silly with you to photo in strange places. I have done this before with a small foam pig (took it to NYC, Statue of Liberty, top of Empire State etc) I took a Lego Harry Potter to Universal, but forgot I had him in my pocket.

A plush Mickey is too predicatble, how about a favorite Teddy if that is your thing, in with the other soft toys or waiting in line, that kinda thing. A sor of Where's Walley style.

:rotfl::thumbsup2

you have me sitting here thinking what can I steal from my friends!:rolleyes1 What do they have that is 1. Not breakable 2. smallish, hence light to carry 3. Something that they will notice has gone!

this is brilliant !

yes i can imagine the photos can get a bit same when visiting regular

bit off topic but have you seen the video on u tube of the young guy who travelled round the world and drank coke in every country

what about a cardboad cut out face mask , maybe a friend or family member get a mask of tehre face then you can take them on holiday with you

I just looked it up. Must say it was some wonderful advertising for Cocoa Cola;) The nearest I am going to get drinking coke around the world is Epcot, which I am more then happy about:goodvibes

Did you see the quiz on the Community Board recently when somebody just took photo's of Restroom signs:)

I was also thinking of doing just different modes of transport within WDW, the monorails, boats, horse and carriages, buses, those things you stand on which the name escapes me, legs, sounding a bit geeky now but hey!

Segways! :thumbsup2

How about at least one person in the pic having to be upside down (handstand)..... :rotfl:

Segways...yes thank you:thumbsup2

Now...as for the Upside down suggestion:rotfl:that'll be a big NO! We both have enough trouble staying upright and usually one or both of us falls over at some point during the hols and its not due to alcohol either:)

Don't suppose you have a 3D tv? I treated myself to one last year and immediatly got my self a Fuji finepix 3D camera and went round looking for unusual angles to shoot the "usual suspects" from. Great fun and i got some amazing shots though getting them printed is a tad expensive at £4 or so each :) though viewing them on the tv is free and great looking.

Maybe an expensive option if you don't already own a 3D TV of course......:lmao:

Every time we go we get photos from Epcot of us wearing the native hat from each country...

My daughter who is 16 insisted on "planking" in front of all the iconic bits of a Disney holiday. In front of the golf ball @ Epcot, on Main Street, in front of ToT etc....she got some very strange looks but it was very funny!:rotfl:

:rotfl2: I loved doing a bit of this last summer. More so in Universal, but one time I did it in front of Rip Ride Rockit on the patch of that fake green grass stuff. My friend was standing back and taking the photo, but a group didn't see her and came up to me and asked if I was OK.

Without taking my head off the floor, I just told them that I had just rode RRR and this was now my time to chill out and think about my experience ;) I thought it was easier to say that, just in case the Americans were not big fans of the 'lying down game' :lmao: Now I'm sure that got some strange looks too :rotfl:

I'll run planking past my 49 year old hubby and see what he says:) Mind you his belly may get in the way and he'll look more lika a seesaw then a plank:rotfl:

If planking isn't your thing, have a go at "Taylor Swifting" or "Faith Hilling". They were supposed to be the next meme according to South Park a few weeks ago. Would draw the line at cat breadding though!!:rolleyes1

Think both would be even funnier than planking, especially in WDW.
