What will Disney let you pay for next?

The price of balloons will go sky high!!

If your state has income tax, well get ready, you'll be charged that and then some.

Make sure you take that turnip so they can draw blood from that too, LOL ..

Definitely character meet and greets will be on Genie +

or you can only take a picture with a character if you pay. For the people then you can say hi to some characters from a “socially distance” length

Conventions already do this. $30 for a selfie $50 for a pro picture. $25 for an autograph

Park lot tram fee, Daily Mousekeeping fee, Gold Lamp Genie + where you can book 3 rides instead of one for club level guests.

I'd say we shouldn't give them any ideas, but we all know we aren't going to come up with something they haven't already thought of.

I'm afraid they will soon try to monetize the ADR system. It's become so competitive and as there are already third party websites that assist in getting them for a fee, I expect Disney to try and get in on that somehow.
I could definitely see this. A Disney dining club. Could even have 3 tiers allowing earlier reservations. They already do this with the run Disney premium thing.

Once Genie+ and Lightning Lane has become a wild success, Disney will be motivated to have more microtransactions:

Access to the bathrooms
Charge to take the trams from the parking lots (staff will start parking cars from the back to the front)
A concierge service to book hard to obtain ADRs
Hotel rooms will only include the room, want bedsheets? Pillows? towels? Rental fee for those.
Pay to watch the TV in the hotel room
Pay to use the resort pools
Pay per ride like the old days, but now with dynamic pricing! Long standby line at 7DMT? Price goes up along with the price for a Lightning Lane pass!
Charge for onsite transportation
Digital badges for riding rides or paying for one of these microtransactions, show off how many times you have paid for Genie+! 100 times for Silver, 500 times for Gold, 1000 for the exclusive Platinum digital badge!
Pay for fireworks / shows, just like the after hours parties if you dont have a wristband you will be escorted out
Pay for the day shows like Indiana Jones, Frozen Ever After, Finding Nemo, etc - the best seats cost more
Standby seat, rent a portable chair so you can sit in the standby line
Pay for the best seat / area for the Cavalcade or Parades
Pay for drinking water
Pay to park at the parks even if you are staying onsite and paying to park there
Happy Birthday buttons, etc now cost $5 each
Park hopper early access, pay extra to park hop before 2pm
Upgraded Genie+ where you get to pick where you sit on the ride, no more requesting front row or back row for your favorite rollercoaster. You need to pay for that right

Lol, I could do this all night. Maybe I should email my ideas to Bob and Josh! ;)
don't give them any ideas.

Resort fees are low hanging fruit.

A fee to cancel or change a dining reservation. Maybe free for 24 hours after you make the reservation.

One step further. Disney will contract with Ticketmaster for sales. Let the "guest" pay Ticketmaster $$$$. Instead of reservations being an IT cost issue it will become a profit center. Ticketmaster rebates some of the fees to the venue. I'm sure Disney could negotiate terms.

Resort fees and making on site transportation an additional charge would be my expected changes. I'd be shocked if those don't come into play eventually.

Ok... I can imagine it now... There will be a special meet and greet area where they will charge you one price and then they will give you like 3 minute interaction, an autographed sign card and so sort of cheap collectible token related to that character. The tokens would be a way to get people wanting to “complete a set” and thus getting people to pay and meet characters.

The rest of the characters will be on roped off areas or on stages so you could still take a selfie from far away but no free hugs or autographs
