SO glad to be home ; as I told my BFF yesterday, "I came, I saw, I don't think I'll come back"! I'll take Disney World crowds over Las Vegas crowds ANY DAY and on Mandy and Bryan's wedding day it was 114 degrees! Our little Princess worked 2 HOURS on Amanda's hair and by the time she got to the little Vegas Chapel, her hair looked liked she'd WALKED! But didn't "stop the ceremony" and sure was cool/COLD in the limo and the Chapel. We all had brunch together at The Peppermill , the wedding at 4 and "wedding dinner" at The Golden Steer Steakhouse...a favorite of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Elvis when they entertained in Vegas. Service was impeccable, aged beef was a favorite of the "beef lovers" and my BFF even got ME to try escargot! Lost money in the Casino's but BFF had a GREAT trip...won about $500 Sunday/Monday; $940 on Friday and before we left for the airport today she spent about $240 on the Wheel of Fortune game and won $1,000! She said we were her "good luck charms" . Fun few days and beautiful wedding for Mandy and Bryan...



So thankful for the young man that made our Mandy smile again!

I got a text on Monday night, I didn't know who it was from so I deleted it. Then I got a bunch of texts responding with hearts and congratulations so I opened one and saw your name in the group. I'm guessing it was wedding related but I have no idea what the original text was.

I got a text on Monday night, I didn't know who it was from so I deleted it. Then I got a bunch of texts responding with hearts and congratulations so I opened one and saw your name in the group. I'm guessing it was wedding related but I have no idea what the original text was.

SORRY about that! I should have just sent the picture directly to you...not in a group text! I've been frustrated ALL week with the same issue...can NOT understand why people don't just respond to SENDER on a group text! I think I had over 100 texts from people responding to my niece who is in Hawaii and has been keeping us posted on their activities. (They did a helicopter tour on Monday...the 3 girls LOVED it but my nephew got really, REALLY sick! Kate said he will NEVER ride a helicopter again!) The wedding was VERY simple (we did the "big wedding package" when she and Waylon got married), very pretty and very meaningful. I just loved the lady minister! Her message was so "down home" but YES...114 was hard to take. I came home with an awful sinus infection; been "self medicating" since Monday night but may have to break down and go to doctor! It's SO hot and dry outside and very, VERY cold inside the buildings; hard not to get sick! But get this...some STUPID people had their dogs with them letting them walk on that hot concrete without doggy boots! ; I wanted to slap them!

Thanks Denise! They're SO happy and oh my goodness what beautiful pictures they're posting on Facebook from their adventures. At Lake Powell today and loving it!
