Where to sit and watch Spectromagic

Is there somewhere, perhaps in Frontierland, where it is possible to stake out a viewing site for Spectromagic where you have a seat (bench, reataining wall, planter, etc). After being on our feet all day the parade can be torture at the same time it's enjoyable.

We usually watch from Liberty Square. By the Liberty Tree is a short "wall" perfect for sitting, but it's designated handicapped only. There are benches everywhere along the parade route, but of course there is always plenty of space between the bench and the parade rope. Thus, someone will invariably come along and stand right in front of the bench. Ideally, would be a bench or planter with only a foot or so of space. Any creative ideas?

Last year we stayed late and saw the 2nd parade. We sat on a wall right in front of Peco's Bill's and had root beer floats. It was wonderful - hardly anyone was around and everyone was really polite and tryed not to get in front of anyone else. However, this may not be a great spot now that there is only one parade scheduled at night during the summer. It still might work if you get there early, but it's in Frontierland, at the end of the parade route, so you may not want to wait that long!

Hope you find something that works! Enjoy Spectromagic - it is our family's favorite evening event!

If you can afford it or if you can do it try for dinner
reservations at Tony's on the square for the porch.
we had dinner there and saw the second show it was so relaxing
we were eating our desert and drinking our coffee, just as the parade started, the
the waiters were so nice as they kept the view clear and we saw and took pictures
of it all...My son got a great view from the wall by splash mt. near bear
jamboree, you would have to scope that out as I have not seen the
show from there,He said it was a nice area, And then they took their time
walking out of the park..He said there was a cart there in the begining
then the cart left...Hope this helps

Main street on the right side at Corner just past the small PopCorn Stand. The parade comes around that corner so you see the action longer and the curb makes a handy seat and a stadium blanket spread the long way along the curb helps save your space[as people can see it as opposed to just curb]

And you don't have to arrive too early because cast members Keep the corner clear so they can measure off and tape it to place all the ropes. :p :p :p

missmac - Spectromagic is the MK night parade

We watched from Main Street and sat on the curb of the center "island" facing the castle. This gave us a good fireworks view and easy exit from the park. :)
