Has anyone done the Digital Done in 4 Webinars? I have family in town and we are playing at Disney so I have missed Session 1 that is offered this week. But I do not have memory manager so I am OK with that. I am just wondering how it is and should I sign up.

If you have not heard about it and no one will be offended I can post the sign up links, but then if someone goes to session 1 please share your feedback.

Well, I cannot review LuLu's yet, as it hasn't arrived (guess I still need to stalk the UPS man!)

BUT between snapfish/shutterfly/CM photo books, I don't see a huge difference in the pages (I don't see any difference...that doesn't mean there isn't one...just not something I notice).

I prefer the CM cover being printed to the book instead of the loose cover I got with the other companies. I like the size I ordered from CM (7.5x11 or something like that). I think LuLu makes one that size!?

It printed exactly as it showed me...nothing cut off with CM. I liked the ease of use with their tool for designing the pages quickly.

I guess I can say I am happy with both companies books. If I had to pick between them, I'd choose the CM because of the cover being printed directly on the book and the paper does not seem to show finger print oil as readily. BUT if I was offered a great deal from snapfish or shutterfly, I'd do that!

Still, I will probably order my other disney books from CM just to keep them all looking uniform on my shelf! LOL I am a nut about that. I'll post follow up with the LuLu when it gets here. Lulu does have great prices...I will have to look at their product quality before I decide for sure!

Shutterfly's covers are printed on the book. They don't have a dust cover.

I didn't know they had new webinars! How do I sign up?

I am having bad luck with a 12x12 CM book I am trying to get printed... The first one they sent had the picture on the cover totally misaligned....like the spine was all off centered due to a printing error... so they sent me a second one, and the top corner of the book is all bubbled up and smashed looking. The shipping box was fine, so it must have happened during manufacturing... So now I have to contact them and try again. They are always good to work with their customers... but I'm a tad frustrated... especially since the book cost $200+. YIKES!

Oh my gosh!!! For $200, I would expect perfection!!! (and a free dinner!)


I hope the NEXT version comes through okay for you!
That would be very frustration, to say the least!

I think one lesson I'm learning here is to never put myself in a position of needing to scrap something on a quick deadline due to possible printing issues. I ordered that book a while back, but with holidays and weekends, it took some time to ship. I will enjoy going back and digi scrapping our last two trips because there is no rush at all...

Christy ~ I hope the third times a charm. WOW, I can't believe it will cost $200, but then again, how much does a traditional page cost to do and multiply that by 20 or more. I am sure your book is going to be beautiful, as the layouts you do are just awesome!

That's terrible! I was going to get my Disney book printed by CM, but it would have been around $200 as well. I got it from Shutterfly instead and paid $80 after all the great codes I found! I just can't justify the cost difference to buy from CM. I wish they would make their prices more competitive!

I have installed SBC+. I FINALLY figured out how to import picures from Memory Manager into SBC+ after Google searching it. I could not find that in the 'Help' section. I also bought the Disney Vacation CD and plan to do a Disney ABC album with the 8 1/2 X 11 predesigned Disney pages. My question is, is the 8 1/2 X 11 digitabl album bound on the 8 1/2 side? That is how it looks on my computer and that is not what I want. I assumed it would be bound on the 11" side, like their traditional 8 1/2 X 11 albums.

Does anyone know for sure which side they are bound on?

Hello to everyone out there! I haven't been on the DIS in a while! I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday!!

I'd love to post it -- can I post it from the CM photo center somehow, or do people have to be able to log in to see it? This is my family album from the first half of the year... I still have some finishing touches to add to our Disney Cruise album....
