Another option that was done on a different thread was when you wanted to be added, you just cut and paste the MOST current list and add yourself and put that in a new post. And so on.

If you don't hear from the OP, then that is what you can do as an option. Just have to make sure the new posters cut and paste the most current version of the list.

Great backup option - we would need to include the instructions at the top of the list. I think this is what I originally intended, but once the first person does it, the instructions tend to get lost, then we just get more posters and someone has to go back and add them. I've already sent a PM to the OP, we'll see what he has to say. Ironically, I think the thread went a little off his original topic, since I think he is really most interested in putting together an Illuminations dessert party, rather than compiling a list of us going (based on the original post).

Updating the list . . . Is there an easier way to do this so it stays at the top? I guess I could start a new thread and continually update myself, while I don't mind doing the updating, I hate to start a new thread on the same topic. How would the OP feel about stating in the title of the thread where the complete list can be found, then just decide on ONE post that will be continually edited and updated? I DON'T want to hijack the thread! Thoughts, anyone?
