It announces that there will be a Season 2 of The Mysterious Benedict Society, which is a great show. @tinkerhon and I are very excited!

Episode 2, Constance:

I am enjoying the new season and the larger glimpses into their world. I love how the time-period is not defined, though it seems to be a world of mid-20th century style, and comic book style "super science" rooted in that era. Like, they seem to have electric cars, but only landline phones. They have computers and even microchps, but the mainframes are large and full of switches and dials. They seem to be in a fictional town in America, but it isn't really defined. There is also no war, but there used to be. It's so interesting and it's the type of setting in which a story can thrive.

I often wonder about kids adventure shows and movies taking place today - like if the kids in Stranger Things had smart phones. "Oh my, Will didn't come home last night? Ping his phone. Okay we found him, but there are monsters? Everyone take video so people will believe us and then the authorities can take action. Let's go home and play more Dungeons and Dragons. The end." It's just not that fun really.

I respect Reynie's altruism but....
Counting cards is not cheating. That's why casinos have to pay a player their winnings. Sure they can tell them not to come back, but it is not ilegal. It's no different than using any reasoning skills as you play. Shaving dice on the other hand....

Constance continues to delight.
"My parents sent me here to clean house."
What a kid! And I like how she took care of their pursuers too.

I guess now we know why blimp travel never really took off!
