Trip report part 3- - Yeeha -A fistful of Euros!

DD (8) - 5th time to DLP
DS (21) - 1st time to DLP but has been to WDW 3 times but not for over 10 yrs

These days were our chilling out days to be spent at Berny Riviere campsite so I wont go into too much detail. However on one of the days we drove back to DLP to park to head into Paris for the day so I will write more about that day- part 3a.

The campsite is one we’ve been to a few times now. Its really nice and has a super indoor pool with slides which DD loves. We had booked a mobile home through Eurocamp which was really nice but it was soooooo COLD. There was a gas fire in the living area which we had on during the day but at nights we had so many layers on and were really grateful for the quilt/blankets/hot water bottles/small snuggle blankets. We spent the few days relaxing: visiting a local market, browsing in the large supermarket, eating nice food, playing table football and air hockey, feeding the ducks, reading etc etc.

We also viewed the Keycamp Tree house which has been mentioned on this board before. It had only just been built so we weren’t able to go up into it but it looked lovely and massive.

We are still considering booking one night in one at the campsite we are going to in Brittany in July (after DLP of course)

The weather wasn’t too bad. We had a lot of rain but mainly in the night but as I say it was cold and on Easter Monday it snowed.

(I somehow think it was a waste bringing the sun lotion)

Yep, don't think you needed that sun lotion. Sounds nice and relaxing though, and a good way of incorporating DL into a longer holiday.

snow... that's the forecast for london this sunday and I somehow thought after all that sun today spring was coming...

so no sun cream for us either

Love the tree house. A great way to relax although it is a shame it was snowy & cold.

I've never stayed in a mobile home before but you make it seem quite relaxing. Not sure I could handle being so cold at night though. (or the dripping on the puddle thing)
