We used to love Boma but we aren't quite ready for buffets yet and our last visit included free-range children, snotty noses, and a lot of picking and putting back at the buffet. Haven't gone back since. Grand Floridian Cafe is a hidden gem, often an easier ADR to get and always gets rave reviews. We also love Geyser Point at WL and you can frequently find walk up availability (via MDE) in a reasonable amount of time.

Is breakfast at Ale and Compass good?

I‘ve only had dinner there, but I’ve seen lots of positive breakfast reviews!

We had an outstanding dinner at Shula's in June. I would highly recommend it!

We just returned home a week ago and did an amazing amount of dining. Some was great and others a total disappointment and waste of $$.

Steakhouse71 is #1 for a resort meal and we had both breakfast and lunch - outstanding. Boma is still good but not so great that I would make the trip unless staying at AKV. Capt'n Cook's Tonga Toast at Poly is a fav.

Used to be The Wave at the Contemporary.

But now, I’d say breakfast at the Kona Café at the Polynesian. The Kona press pot is the best coffee on property, and the Tonga Toast is only one of several divine entrée choices.

Shula's is the best meal on property that I've ever had. Looking forward to going back in January.
