The lady I am going with is in her 70's and everyone has told me the resort is closer to everything plus I can still go over and use all the stuff at the por side too.. Did I make your mind up for ya?

You have to take the boat to DTD....it takes a little longer than the bus, but very relaxing!:thumbsup2

Good Moorning Everyone....Only can catch up on a couple of pages...so don't post to much today ok?!

I did love the AKL VERY much when we went there to eat at Boma. We listened to a story from the story teller - so nice. What kind of games for kids do they have? By the time we left we were staying there next time!!! (It's only after time that my DH kept saying it was so far from everything...he likes to be near action.)

They have "hunts" for kids throughout the day. One might be focused around the pool and they give you a sheet of paper and you have to find different kinds of plants. I remember one being at the lobby. After you finish one hunt you get a special bead. If you collect all four beads ( I think four) you get a special aniamal bead. They keep adding them to a leather rope or strong piece of twine. My kids loved doing the games. Every night they have african story telling and hand out drums and other instruments to the kids. It was just so different from the other resorts. It was a whole different experience in itself.

Well, I know he said he was going to his parents, the other day :confused3 guess he meant for the whole long weekend (maybe they dont live nearby?) RER, we're all waiting for you to come home!!!!!!!

Yay Rer's back. I hope you had a good time! I will try to catch up later.

I'm going to be late for work. Maybe I should'nt multi quote...I always end up editing it.

Not much sleep here in this household.
Mood is swinging so when I woke up crying in pain over my shoulders (gotta hate those stupid joints) I kept crying over a movie we watched on FRIDAY. anyone ever see "8 Below" Had me sobbing during entire movie and even during church yesterday. :sad2:

I sobbed during the entire movie..at the theaters!!! I told my kids that we aren't doing that again...I would rather cry in my own house.

Hey, since I'm on a roll.....what are your DD's fav. Disney hotel - and yours too? And all my Limeys too??! I want to decide so can get more excited!

We love POR. we always request the mansion rooms. It is really pretty, and like I said to Teresa, the boat to DTD is great. They have a butterfly garden that the kids love. and you can use the pools at POR and POFQ. (the quiet pools at POR are almost always empty-well at least when we are there in september)

Hi. Sorry I was only 40 or so pages behind! Decided to get my puter back. I heard something bout a race going on so I had to stay in the game! :lmao:

hmmm....I don't think you really have to worry...for about another few hundred posts or so..:rotfl:

Ok I just woke up to a 1/2 inch of snow out there.. UGH!!:scared1:

I want to say I am jealous...but it was over 60 degrees last night while I was at work...I kinda am beginning to like this....(except its supposed to go down to 20 tonight)

Thanks for the input Jaqueline. I remembered your saying you liked "Dixie Landings" - is that what is now called POR? (It's funny about things like that...having grown up in the "Capital of the South" I'm rather thankful they changed the name.....but can see how one feels nostalgic for something...)

I like the Movies Hotel alot it seems like one I would enjoy alot...only reason its not on the list is it doesnt have a pool slide - ds7 is a slide nut!!! (And I am a nut for how tired he gets doing it over and over.:thumbsup2

My favorite part about Disney!!:rotfl2:

Morning Teresa!!! I wish I could stay and chat....but I am starting to fall asleep. Hopefully someone will be around when I wake up later....it really is different when other limey's are on at the same time. :)

We make ours the old fashioned way.... with the microwave! :teeth:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Well the real old fashion way is
