Vicki-are you doing the meal plan on your next trip? I didn't think you were since you have AP's now. I've always lost weight at Disney except when I was on the meal plan.

No, we are using the DDE since we have our AP's. I couldn't handle all that food for an entire week! I really enjoyed the plan but had trouble eating all that food.

pixiedust: for a June trip, Elizabeth!!! The flowers are beautiful!

I'm trying to come up with a little trip that we could take this summer that I could propose to dh. It has to be relatively inexpensive, within driving distance, and something that we could do for just a couple of days. Matthew will most likely take driver's ed. this summer up until the time cross-country practice starts, so he won't be able to be gone for more than a weekend unless we do it the last week of June. Anyone have any good ideas? I'm probably looking at PA, eastern OH, MA area, or NY areas.

And Laura is definitely looking forward to the 1/2 hour later bus time next year! She is so not a morning person.

DS goes to middle school next year so he will have an extra half hour in the morning. And he will need every second, because he is so SLOW. We had a huge fight on Friday morning because he refuses to get up and get ready. I told him we are going to start setting his alarm every morning and if he chooses not to get up and get ready on time then he will lose privileges that afternoon. I am sick of chasing him around trying to get him to get dressed, eat, and brush his teeth. He has been getting to school later and later. I wake him up, hand him his clothes, fix his breakfast, there really isn't much more I can do for him! He dawdles, stares into space, plays with the cat, looks at his braces in the mirror... :rolleyes1 And all of a sudden it is time to go out the door and NOTHING is done.:headache: I know he has ADD and he has a very hard time getting from task to task, but it is getting out of hand.

Beth - Good luck choosing a summer weekend destination!:wizard: We are all set for June except for airfare. I haven't checked it today - I need to get in the habit of checking every time I am online.

Janet, Beth, and Tammi - Good night!!:)

HOLY COW!:scared1: Something very peculiar has happened to airfare since yesterday!

American is now showing only 2 non-stop flights on June 1. There are usually TONS of flights! And they are $233 per person! Southwest has a good fare coming home, but the fare going to MCO is so high it works out to be over $800 for the 3 of us round trip. YIKES! The prices are not nearly as freaky as the fact that dozens of flights are gone from the American schedule. I wonder if they all sold out yesterday?

Don't I wish! Unfortunately, I'm the closest to WDW. The others are in CA and CO, so I doubt I can get them to fly that far for a weekend thing.

Speaking of which, I've been going to post when I catch up (which doesn't seem to be happening)...

Glynis, Theresa and anyone else in the Western half of the country (or knowledgable thereof) - where are some good places to spend a weekend with friends? We're coming from St. Louis, Colorado Springs, San Fransisco and Los Angeles areas. We don't want to do Vegas and one would probably prefer to avoid anyplace to terribly hot. So, anyone have any suggestions?

What dates are you looking at? What things do you like to do? Are you into hiking, etc.? Or would you rather have more cultural opportunities? If you let me know what you like to do, I can give some recommendations.

that would help me too!!

We met for drinks at our local bowling alley. There is a bar in the upstairs part, hung out there talking for a couple of hours. Then we went down and bowled 2 games. He did the gentlemanly thing and let me win both times. Or maybe I am just really that good. Then we sat and talked some more. He's really nice and we seemed to have hit it off well.

Sounds like a nice time. Did he try to do a lip kiss?

Elizabeth....congrats on the interview!!

Tammi...congrats on second date

Terry....yowsa!! that sounds painful!! Hope it doesn't bruise or hurt too much.

Beth...great new siggie!!

I know I am missing somebody...or everybody please forgive me!!

Hi, Theresa! Hope your weekend is going well!!

I am going to bed. I am just absolutely boggled by the airlines - I can't think straight!

I also need to get plenty of rest so I can tackle my wardrobing issues tomorrow. I can't go to an interview looking like the poster child from "What NOT to Wear".

Good night, DDA!!

hi Theresa
How was your day?

it was okay other than my family is driving me nuts....none of them are planners and all they said for my ideas today was...okay, sure why not. AAAAAAAAARGGGGGH!!!

This on top of Jim telling me we would go on a date last night and we ALL went to dinner and than to Barnes & Noble...not the intimate dinner I was expecting.

They are not planners. Oh how did I end up the only planner???
