g/l to her! Told ds he had to get a job to get his, he has no interest in a job so that's alright by me!

We aren't going anywhere this summer, gotta save up the vacation time for the Dec trip, but my kids are going on a 4 day trip with my folks over Labor Day, to the Jellystone RV park in Sioux Falls SD for 2 nights and the Flinstones Bedrock City RV park at Mount Rushmore for 2 nights. My parents have a 38 ft motor home, and they generally take the kids "camping" a couple times a year.

I told my dh that I want to save & buy a truck & a camper so we can go camping more often. We love Jellystone. Hope they have fun.

It could be worse.... Em has been running around the house naked... Whats worse she keeps sneaking outside one me...

My friend's dd used to take off all her clothes outside & then run around. She would do it in winter time too. Sidenote-- I heard on the radio today that they arrested a priest (not sure where) for jogging nude in the early morning. He claimed clothes made him sweat too much!

Great! All I need is an imaginary gutter for my incredible amount on non-imagined junk to go into AND have the neighbors complain about.

I'd love to! Unfortunately, 2 things would keep that from happening,
1) no money, honey
2) family would KILL me if I went without them before our big family first trip!

Just don't tell them for sure where you are going and then if they do find out, let them know it was a scouting trip to make sure all was ok in the World!

Good morning, all! I am all caught up on what I missed from last night! And it is ALMOST Friday! Hurray! Plus I am off Monday and Tuesday next week, to spend a couple days with the girls before school starts on 8/20. I can't believe the school year is almost started again! I have to call next week and schedule with the teacher and principal to go over the 504 plan for Meagan for the year. That's bound to be LOTS of fun, but at least we know her teacher and like her, that's always good. Plus at some point I will have to discuss with the administration that I am pulling them out for the week of our Disney trip, so they can preapprove that. I am told that if they don't approve, they will consider it unexcused absences, and that if you have 6 unexcused days, they will contact the city attorney! I am feeling pretty confident that they will be fine with it since we can tell them WAY ahead...

Sounds good. I am still dealing with getting Krista moved out of the unaccredited school she is in and back to the one she has been in for the last 3 years. was put of flast week cause the coordinator wason vacation. should have heard from her by Monday. So I call yesterday and low & behold she has been moved and Krista new coordinator is on vacation & will be back on Monday! ACK!! She is NOT attending the school she is assigned!

And still waiting to se eif Jeff will get held back in 4th, though the asst. principle who was there when I turned in the request looked & acted like "no problem". She was Jeff's mentor/confidante and looked out for him last year. She was also the one he kicked & hit when he had a major meltdown.

Hopefully we will ifnd out before we leave, but then again, who knows! School starts 2 days after we get back, but no chance to talk with them until then.
