DD 6 is Clare Celia....I originally wanted Clarice (after the reindeer in Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer) but then that darn Jodi Foster movie ruined it.

Both of my children have my maiden name as their middle name, so.......
DS7: Thomas Schaefer
DD4: Josephine Schaefer

We rarely meet other boys named Thomas, but know quite a few Josephines.

Christopher Thomas - we both liked Christopher (haven't figured if he'll be a Chris or not), and Thomas is a family name for DH.

If he had been a girl, she was going to be Kathleen Elaine (after both our mothers), called Kate.

Mine are:

Andrew John Dennis - his dad and I had a very hard time agreeing on names. I knew I wanted Dennis in there. That was my uncle/Godfather's name. John was my ex's grandfather's name and my great-grandfather's name. Andrew was because I refused to name him Edmund and we didn't want either of the middle names as a first. He would have been Katelynn Marie or Courtney Marie if a girl.

Grace Anne - both family names. My great-grandfather had a sister named Grace. Plus, my maiden name started with a "G", so I wanted a name that started with a "G". My husband's grandmother's name is Anna and my mother's middle name is Ann. We went with Anne to make it her own. She would have been Gabriel Steven if a boy.

My daughter's name is Rebecca. I just liked it, and it sounded nice with David. David and Rebecca. I am not into trendy names, I wanted solid, sturdy, tried and true names.

Her middle name is Lynne. That was my favorite aunt's middle name who died from complications from MS at a very early age.

my 3 girls are
Ashley Mae- love the sound of this but never would have named her this if I would have known how trendy it would become I also had Aubree for a girl name with her but everyone said it was too weird I still wish I would have just went with that since it would have fit her better I think. I had Avery for a boy and I'm glad she was a girl because Avery is being used for girls all the time now.
Julianna Faith- her middle name was going to be Faith or Grace I couldn't decide so at my baby shower I put both names on the wall and all the guests signed under the one they liked best and Faith won. I had Sadie as another of my choices in case Julianna didn't fit when she was born. She would have been Hunter if she was a boy
Marinah Jolie- I had been researching adoption before we decided to have another and saw the name Marina alot and really liked the way it sounded. Later I found it in my baby name book but spelled Marinah and I thought it looked more feminine with the h on the end. Jolie sounded good with it and my last name. If she would have been a boy she would have been Hunter.
I'm preggo with my forth now but don't know what it is yet. I don't think we will use Hunter now if we have a boy because it is getting too popular so we are back to the drawing board for boy and girl names.

(the middle name after my mom-the girl with the middle name, names her daughter's middle after the first name of the grandmother-a tradition..at least my name Pam is a tad more modern than Harriet and Bernice-which is my middle name LoL)

Were were going to name DD#2 Jamison or Sydney and if we had a boy he would have been a Griffin James or GJ.

My kids have long Hawaiian names. I hesitate being so specific due to privacy concerns, but I will tell you their general meanings:

dd16 is "our-gift-from-God" - middle name is Joy

dd12 is "heavenly moon" - middle name is Grace

dd9 is "warmth of the sun" - middle name is Hope

dd4 is "peaceful ocean" - middle name is Charles (named after both great gfs)

dd2 is "heavenly white" - middle name is Rose (named after my dad's mom/my grandma)

Ummm, do you see a theme here? lol

I picked meaningful, cultural, and familial names.

We had to pick three names at once, which was really tough. Here's what we came up with....

Olivia Katherine - named after our mothers
Jennifer Pauline - named after our grandmothers (Is called Jenn or Jennifer, not Jenny)
Alex Jonathon - middle name after DH's grandfather, John. Alex because DH liked the name (didn't want Alexander, though )

To complicate things further, my ultrasound showed 2 boys & one girl. Our other boys name was Tyler Bruce - middle name is DH's middle name & my dad's first name, I just liked the name Tyler.

When we delivered 2 girls & one boy, we had to scramble to come up with another name, which was Jennifer.
