WOW!! I have had to read back a few pages to catch up on things. I felt like I missed a chpter in a book!
First of all, Congratulations Joe and Leslie. God Bless little Michael Dylan--love the name.

Peter-How is maisey? I worry about my Reggie's ears--same kind as maisey-he is an English Springer Spaniel and he loves to stick his head into any stream, lake, river we go near. He hunts for rocks in the streams, pulls them out and then plays Rock Hockey/Soccer. Very strange, yet amusing for all of us to watch-but I worry about the wet ears.

Glad everyone had a good race. I am trying to get my a** in gear as some freinds and I are doing a 1/2 marathin in Central park in NYC in April. I am trying to recruit soem freinds to go to WDW for the Minnie in May.

RE:Fish Extenders--can someone give me an idea for the type of gifts that have been given in the past. I love this idea. Is it anonymous or signed?

Also, I would like to help fund the lanyards. I am amazed at the initiative of the creative people here. THANK YOU!

Scott- you should write Menus. Your description of a Grilled cheese w/tomato soup makes it sound oh so gourmond! (Is that a word?)

Lastly, as a Giants fan, I too thought Brett Favre would pull it off in the end--especially after going into OT and winning the coin toss. I like FAvre and the Packers alot--but

Yeah Yeah--the unstoppable. The Boston Sports gods and stars are all lined up right now--Sawx, Celtics, Pats--who else-Bruins! Soon enough all the Boston fans will have nothing to complain about and cry in their beers about!

Aw Peter.. I'm sorry to hear that Maizey's having ear trouble. I'll be thinking of her. You know we love all pups (aka our kids)

Thanks for all the congrats everyone. Mama and baby are doing very well, came home yesterday and of course we just can't get enough of him!!!

Maisey, is going in for another ear surgery on Tuesday!
will spend the night and be home on Thursday, I will be home with her. to make sure everything is ok!

will be the other ear!
this will leave her Deaf, suppose it is better than the Cronic ear infections she is going thru now!

Thinking about all of you out that way.
So sad that Maisey had to have the surgery.

Dogs are very resilient. We figure Tippy was deaf her last 2 years.
She adapted very well.

RE:fish extenders, the gifts are usually something simple, like what you might find at the dollar store, or oriental trading post. Since there are so many folks on this one, I imagine they will be more simple. Some have brought something from home, ie. postcards, esp. if they live in a more exotic area. Candy is also popular. Most are signed, but some are anonomous. And again, this is not a manditory activity, not everyone brings something, and it is not expected of anyone.

Where do you plan on staying. I actually got a good rate at the Dolphin--I never stayed there before. I am using some points for the 5 day cruise and don't enough that I would want to use on a weekend so I booked a room-hoping to use it!
