ok I have to confess, since John is gone...Paul got me some uhmmm interesting underwear the other day. Kinda a jungle girl outfit. It was DIS lime green. What was he thinking that I could wear that and think it was sexy??? Oh ya, it's coming on the cruise. You'll never see me in it, but it's coming.

So, our house sat on the market for 4 months with no offers....put it on Craig's list for rent and after 3 days we have had 15+ calls with people interested in it and now have 3 people who all want it...hmmm, I think we put it on for too cheap, but it should be rented by the end of the week and a big burden will be lifted!

Have you been a landlord before? It can be a nightmare getting rid of a bad tenant. I would run a credit check, verify employment, speak with the former landlord, and use a current and enforceable rental agreement.

Goodmorning all, Well its another rainy day here. I was supposed to be in a 5K in Huntington Beach this morning, but I cancelled. It is just too cold and raining. We're off to Hollywood today to see Wicked. The Oprah/Kennedy/Obama machine is on one side of town and the Clintons are on the other side of town, were praying we can make it through the middle to get there without a 3 hour backup in traffic. Keep your fingers crossed.

I, we, don't know the first thing about parenting. At all. Have we done everything wrong? John and I think so.
We have a sassy kid, who is 5 but thinks she is Amber (my sis 23).
We have a wanna be....to that sassy kid. Johnny is Johnny......he's a guy, "whatever you want V"! my Geeks, I hope, will understand, how do I give my girls "everything" that I never had and still make them appreciate it?

I run a really fun workshop on parenting for preschool and elementary school age children - I'll let you know when we are in Florida. It's called a Mother's checklist .

I have a huge rubbermaid tub of stuff from our Xmas Dec 2005 WDW & DCL trip full of stuff, albums, stickers, paper, idea books, photos, and haven't done a single page. Shame on me. Bad scrapper. My NYE cruise buddies taught me a new word today, I have scrapathy.

Don't be too hard on yourself. We are still scrapbooking our December 2005 WDW and DCL vacation as well. We have a lot of pages done but so many more to do.

Well, I'm an unproud member of the Scrapathy club! I have 7 rubbermaids full of scrapbooking stuff that we have saved from everywhere and everything! it is the winter project here... since all the stores have bathing suits and barbcue gear out now, I'm thinking maybe it will be the Summer project?

We (well my DH and Dad) own several rental properties and have had over our fair share of horrible renters and evictions happen. We have learned from our past mistakes and are pretty on top of things now. thanks for the advice they are very important things to do.

By the way, we watched Artic Tale last night (the move about the polar bears etc). It was a good movie, a bit sad, but interesting and made some good points. Taylor had a hard time with it due to the reality of nature, but Jaide enjoyed it.

You guys are bad influences. We usually do very inexpensive excursions. We started out thinking we'd do the sea lions and then moved up to the Royal Dolphin Swim which includes a sea lion encounter when you book direct. Goodbye OBC savings, it is spent elsewhere...
