Halloween Time at Disneyland, Oct 16-19. Lots Of Pictures! Trip Report Completed

Look on the bright side. If they were that pushy to get on the tram, can you imagine how stressed they were in dealing with the crowds?

Did you just compare my super awesome breakfast, that I waited an hour for and paid $8.61 for, to a McDonald's breakfast!? :scared1:
:rotfl:
OK, I'll have to agree, but it was better quality!
Yeah, I guess I did. But I am one of those rare creatures who happens to think that McDonalds breakfasts are rather tasty. ;) Although I would never wait an hour for any breakfast anywhere! Yikes.

Oh, and another thing about that lady, I believe in karma, what goes around, comes around. I'm sure something just as mean and nasty happened to her later that day. There, now don't you feel better? :hippie: :rotfl:

Too bad you couldn't run into that lovely woman an trip her.:thumbsup2 What a doozy she was.

It just totally blew my mind! Then to top it off, she laughs at me!? Some people.

Yeah really, but she probably just cut in front of all of them too! :rotfl:
Oh well, there's a special place for her on Mr. Toad's ride. :stir: :rolleyes1

To be honest, I do too. I grew up with McDonalds breakfast being a special treat for special occasions. :rotfl2:

Yes, I do feel a little better, thank you! She was probably just jealous of me anyways. :snooty:

:lmao:

Of course she was jealous. How could she help herself?

LOL--I am the same way about bathing. Even if I have to get up at 3 a.m. I am NOT going out without a shower every day! (and no fair cheating and taking it the night before--it's got to be a "fresh" shower!) :rotfl:

I can't believe you didn't tell us that day about the tram lady. Don't you realize (or maybe you did :lmao: ) that your Dis friends would have joined with you, tracked down Tram Lady and Daughter and gotten revenge????? How dare she dis a Dis Lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm the same way about the "no night before shower" rule!!!!!!!!! I just feel ALL yucky! My mom shakes her head at me and just does not understand, no one ever has...until now!

I was about to, but then I had the most wonderful slice of apple pie caramel apple and all was right in the world again. :cloud9:

And I think everyone would have helped except Callie ;) She only stalks Disney employees. :rolleyes1

I know, I'm such a princess! princess:

I understand about the shower thing, and I can one up you! Not only do I have to take a shower each and every morning, most of the time, I can't sleep at night until I've had one then too. :sad2:

Oh, and lucky for me Callie only stalks Disney employees. :rolleyes1

I'm sooo good at it, they CM's don't even know they're being stalked. :tiptoe: :ssst:

Seriously, I wasn't the only stalker that day, so I won't take all the blame (I mean credit). :rolleyes1

I've just now found this TR. So many pages to read. :) I'm reading it backwards, as I often do, and I'm back to page 39.

I never saw the Sex and the City movie. Actually I never saw one episode of that show. :confused3

I think that for someone who married their childhood sweetheart and is still blissful, there's really no reason to watch it. Unless you have a desperate need to understand the lives of women who haven't met the right guy well into their 30s (and now 40s). It's sort of like Bridget Jones IMO...if you're a "smug married" why read about people who are alone and sad about it? (and if you're alone and sad about it, as I was for sooooo long, it's nice to read about others in the same situation, though Bridget Jones and the ladies from SATC always had MUCH more fun than I did while single!)

I'm not allowed to comment on SJC b/c, when i'm thinner, I've been told by probably 15 different, unrelated, don't know each other, people that I have a resemblance. I wish it were just the hair, but no, it's the face. So I absolutely MUST continue to think that she's adorable and perky and wonderful!

Something about him, in that first pic especially, has an Elvis look to it and I hate Elvis' look.

Everyone has different tastes and so their image they create of Edward is going to be very different.

OK I take it back after what you said about Elvis. Go watch SATC, have fun, let the kids watch it too, the uncensored shows!

:rotfl:

All the "who should play" so and so stuff about Twilight is giving me serious deja vu about the casting choice of Tom Cruise for Interview with a Vampire. Does anyone remember all of that hoopla, with Anne Rice taking out ads in big papers protesting TC, and then after she saw the movie and saw him in it (say what you will about his personal life, and know that I actually like the dude, he's a darned good actor when you give him a chance!) she took out more ads to "take back" what she said about him. She wanted Rutger Hauer for Lestat, and TC is no Rutger Hauer! :)

Anyway, that's what all the convo here and elsewhere reminds me of...

Is it healthy to have such a major crush on a fictional character? :confused3

No more unhealthy than a high school friend of mine who was MADLY in love with "both" Rhett Butler AND the looooong-dead Clark Gable. I mean madly in love. It was creepy. But she's a seemingly happily married (to a urologist) woman with two kids now, so I guess it's OK. :upsidedow

OK back to page 39. By the way, how wild is it, that you can see the Maliboomer from the Mark Twain? I just never really look up when I'm there, I guess.

What about those in their 50's who haven't found the right guy? Could it have something to do with the fact that my teenage crush was Doug Kershaw, the Cajun fiddle player?????? (Ok, so I wasn't your normal teenager.)

The guy they chose to play Edward is the same guy who played Cedric Diggery in Harry Potter -The Goblet of Fire.

I can't comment on the choice to play Edward as I haven't read the Twilight books, but that actor Messed Me Up when Goblet's movie came out. Why? Because the Cedric in my head as I read was of African descent! I guess the only Cedric I've ever known was Black (and now I'm remembering Cedric the Entertainer, but I don't know him), so that's basically who I pictured, and seeing a guy that looked like a Daniel Ratcliffe wannabe (seriously, they couldn't have picked someone who looked just a little different than Harry Potter?) was just weird weird weird.

I never saw any of the Harry Potter movies.

Seriously Beth, you're killing me here.... :scared: :flower3: :goodvibes

What about those in their 50's who haven't found the right guy?

Well it sounds like you've found a few semi-right guys, if I follow things correctly in conversations I come into 'round here...:rolleyes1

Anyway, I just looked up Kim Cattrall, and she's in her 50s (don't tell hubby, the youngster (2.5 years younger than me), b/c he still pictures her from Mannequin), so if they make another than that will cover you, too! Though I don't know if the character Samantha is the same age as Kim.

Gawd I hope that came out right.:headache: :flower3: :lovestruc :3dglasses

Wendy, you should have body slammed that lady in the tram! How dare her!

 I'm the same way about taking a shower. I will not go ANYWHERE if I have not taken a shower and my hair is washed. Don't worry, you're not alone!

Mmm. That Mark Twain looks GOOD! popcorn::
