ok...I have never participated in a big give. I want to participate in this one and more!! How do I do it? Can someone guide me through the process? Give me all the details, tips, rules, ect!! I am so excited. I read their story and want to make something special for this family!! Now, I am not as talented as all of you, but never-the-less would be honored to contribute!!

First off, if you haven't already, go to www.disbiggive.com. You have to register to see anything. Do that and we'll approve you. We try to do it quickly. Check back and just try to log in because most of the time it doesn't send an email or anything.

After that you can look around on the board. Most of the info is on there but if you have specific questions we'll be happy to answer. Look under current gives to find this give. Click on it and then the 2nd post will have what is left to make. The first is info about them. We like to send atleast 3 outfits each, but more are always welcome. Thank you guys!!! Thank you for restating to Linnette that she needs to tell this lady NO!! This lady is expecting to have a designer type gown, custom invitations and a Mother of the Bride dress for $200. Can you say stupid? Linnette keeps telling her no, but the mother of the bride won't listen to her.

GEESH! Ok, who is close to Linnette, someone needs to be there and "talk" to these clods for her!

I don't know what to think. The seller just emailed me and said she tracked the package down with the reciept and it was at the stop before getting to me. She said the delay was because of what happened to her dogs and she wished it never happened. I don't know if she is telling the truth. Her ebay id is 1977cook magic thread clothing boutique. I hate that this happened. If you would know me you would know I am not a person to be ugly to people. I really feel bad about her dogs and I hope she is not lying to me. She said in her last email that she hopes I have a nice trip. It might just be a misunderstanding. This just upsets me.

I'll tell you what you should think, you should think that this lady is a liar! I'm sorry, but like others have said there are just too many stories and too many stories that don't make sense for this to be true!! I don't believe her for a minute! I would really leave her a negative feedback.

Oh, and ask her to send you a copy of that receipt she found! Then, you call the postoffice to see what kind of information they will give you with it!

I told her to give her my number and I'll give her a quote for the dress and the invitations.Linnette and I talked a little while after she made the post and she has decided to make an invitation so ugly that there is no way the woman will want her to do the rest.I know, I'm sorry, I can be mean like that.

I am so upset.

I ordered three custom appliqued pillowcase dresses for Grace from . I got them for our trip to Disney World. When I ordered them Jan. 9. I told the seller I was ordering them for our trip. I told her I wanted them for one week before we leave. She said that would be no problem at all. We leave tomorrow and I still don't have the dresses. I contacted her last week and she said she would mail them last Friday afternoon priority mail. She was mailing them from Georgia and I am in Louisiana. I am sitting here waiting on the mail, which will pass in about one hour. If they don't come today I will not have them for the trip. She has already charged me through paypal. I only ordered them for the trip. If they don't come in time I don't want them. What should I do. I sent her an email yesterday and got no response. In her defense one of her little yorkies was killed and the other badly injured in an attack. I know she has had to deal with all of that. I understand. I just can't even pack until I know if I will get the dresses. I made four custom dresses for Grace my self but I ordered those from because I can't applique. I had a custom a day planned. If the three don't come in I will have to go shopping for three new outfits for Grace to wear. I am so stressed sorry to rant. Any advice would be appreciated. Maybe I will get some pixie dust and they will be in the mail today.

I am 5 pages behind so if this matter has been takin care of just ignore me! I would kindly ask her to reimburse you to have it overnight to your hotel!

I finished all of the customs. I think I'm finally packed. We leave for the WORLD in 3 hours. My DH is crazy, he wants to leave at 3AM. He wants to get through Dallas before rush hour. I understand but I'm tired. I don't do good on 2 hours sleep so I'm just staying up until we leave. Hopefully I'll be able to get some sleep in the car.

Here my completed list:
2 Daisy Vida's, 2 Minnie Vida's, 2 Mickey bowling shirts, 2 Mary Poppins Vida's, 1 "Let's go fly a kite" bowling shirt, 2 Pooh & 2 Tink Aline's with 2 pair coordinating pants, 2 Nemo Alines, 1 Nemo bowling shirt, 1 Mickey bowling shirt, Handy Manny raglan, AK raglan, appliqued a polo shirt & onsie, 1 pant with zebra ruffle, 1 Dumbo appliqued sweat jacket, 1 Minnie appliqued sweat jacket, 1 Princess (with 8 princesses) appliqued sweat jacket.

They are wearing customs from previous trips the rest of the time. The only thing I didn't get done was the stroller blanket that DD (GoofyG) wanted me to make.

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been swamped at work since I got back. My "challenging" kid is sapping all my energy. One of the assistant principals stays in my room for the first 45 minutes of class to help control him so I can actually teach the other kids something! (for all you other teachers, it's almost like having an evaluation every day--although I am doing nothing different as far as content, delivery, etc., it is still stressful to have her there--you never know what a 4 year old will say or do!) But it would be far more stressful without her!! I have the other 2 hours and 15 minutes without her--so no small groups during workstations because I have to monitor him so closely. Sometimes our para can come in and stay with him so I can work with the others--some of my kids are beginning to read & it is killing me that I can't give them the support they deserve! Others need help in the very basic areas and I can't give it to them either! I have another "normal" class after the first one leaves. I am worn out by the time I get home.

I was able to get my room problem at Movies resolved. (For those that weren't there, Movies had assigned a room on the third floor. I had first floor in my ressied that was supposedly approved by special services. They "downgraded" me from preferred to regular & put me on the third floor because of the cheerleaders and Argintine tour groups that "needed to be kept together." When I went back to the Movies after ESPN, I told them that it just wasn't acceptable to be where I needed to use stairs in case of a fire. I explained to them that I was not faking the need--that I wished I were--but I could not stay on the third (or second for that matter) floor. They miraculously found me a room on the first floor....still not close to the front, but at least I felt safe.

I also forgot my cell phone charger so I couldn't communicate with anyone after Sunday. On Monday, I went to the studios and rode toy story and then to magic kingdom, watched the new parade and rode haunted mansion. I went back to the room and mostly rested and read 3 books I had brought with me. Since my Kiddo had been suspended for the two days I wasn't at school, I knew he would probably be in rare form when I returned (and he was!) BTW--I have actually seen some small improvements in his behavior this week. We are actually making a tiny bit of progress! It is difficult, but I am not giving up on this child just because his parents won't admit he has challenges! He may have already been expelled from two public schools, but if I can help it, he won't be expelled from ours!

This thread is such an inspiration! I have hopes to get into sewing one day. I have a machine (cheap little Brother to just get my feet wet), and have made a few costumes for my dogs with it.

Mom has a brother, the Disney edition that does the embroidery (I don't know the name - sorry!), and I can't wait to play with it!

We're headed to the World for the 1st time in 13 years this August, and Mom & I are planning some outfits for my son. (Gotta look good when meeting Mickey for the 1st time, right!?)

I'll be sure to post pics & plans as they happen!

I buy my Farbenmix patterns through a group on Yahoo. It saves a little bit of money per pattern, but when you buy a bunch of them the savings add up.
