Discounted Annual Passes - Information and Official Exchange Thread

Please include our family in a list that would love to receive a discount card for an AP. We plan to be at WDW June 30 through July10. There will be three of us and have been thinking about upgrading MYW tickets to APs. With this program, I certainly would go ahead and make that decision.

Thanks to ShastaBear for spreading Pixie Dust pixiedust: our way by sharing the AP cards.
A special thanks also to Jockey from UK that was willing pixiedust:if they were sent to the UK.

Cheshire Figment,if my mother buys an AP by July 31st,but doesn't want to activate it until the first Night of Joy,will she be eligible for the 10% discount?
When you purchase an AP at WDW it is immediately activated. You can purchase an exchange certificate/voucher, but that is not an AP. So the answer is no.

Looking for a referral card too, PM me. Family of 4 - $100 bonus for a pass along card.

Thanks for all the great info. We have APs and so does my dad so I should have 2 vouchers to share (1 spoken for.) What a shame that there is only 1 per address (we have 3 APs at this address!) Ithinkit is fantastic that they are giving up to 6 discounts per referral though.

It really is a great offer. Too bad we won't be needing any new APs for awhile.

We are going in June and are planning on upgrading our MYW tickets to APs and would really appreciate a card if anyone has one to spare. Please PM me if anyone is willing to share one with me. Thanks

I have re-written Post #1 to answer several of the questions that have been asked. If you have further quesitons please review that original post. If your question has not been answered in Post #1, please post your question here and then later review Post #1.

I think this is a better way to handle questions than answering each individually, as many people are probably interested.

I will not answer questions sent by PM.

According to the FAQ, you can get the extra 10% off even with the DVC discount and doing an upgrade.

I'm going to hazard a guess, but the 10% off will be based on the price AFTER the DVC discount, as opposed to before...for example, the 10% off a standard adult DVC AP will be based on the $369 price (i.e. $37 dollars off) instead of the $469 price ($47 off).

Has anyone received a May Mickey Monitor yet?
I have friends who are AP holders and I need the savings card before we leave on May 7.
Any chance the magazine will get here before we leave?

Wow, you are really thinking this one out. It didn't cross my mind, but I would guess that it would be off the DVC price. I only say that because when you go to the ticket store on the DVC website, it list the price of an annual pass as $369, not the full price and then minus the $100. So once the CM presses the DVC adult ticket price it would show $369 (before taxes).

Actually what we need is the SUMMER Mickey Monitor. The spring one has come and gone (had Bambi on it). I share you pain as we leave TOMORROW and our family is arriving on May 9th and will be buying APs then. I just can't believe they would start a promotion before anyone got their coupons.

EACH!

We are going to upgrade to 4 APs before May 30. Who wants to earn $100 ?

It was just something that crossed my mind...some people think of the DVC APs as being simply discounted, but most of the docs I've seen typically list it like another type of pass at its price. The passholder site does have language that mentions the 10% off the "Savings applied based on non-discounted price of a Disney Annual or Premium Annual Pass.", but I'm not sure this applies to the DVC "discount".

This is so hysterical to me.
First we deal with the 4/3 upgrade with nonexpiring ticket 10 day etc etc etc
Now we have ANOTHER part to work out!
Robo and Doc, Disney is not making your life easy right now!!!
