Wait a sec.... Eva. I think that was our server's (Alex) wife!!! Our amazing Palo server (Igor) spilled it and told us to ask Alex to introduce us to his wife since they work the same shift, so she came over our last night to say hi. Igor's wife also works on the ship (I'm pretty sure they met on the ship). I wonder how many are married and both hubby & wife are on board.

All of our servers were great. Igor served us in Palo for brunch and dinner. He was a lot of fun. Since their were 8 of us, they gave us the Palo private dining room both times (kinda cool).

Funny that you mention Igor's wife...she was our head server!!! Her name is Yelena and she was awesome!!! And yes, they met on the ship! We never got to meet Igor but she told us that he was working at Palo.

How funny. There must be a lot of couples on that ship. Our favorite server from Palo -- Annie-Marie, was also married to a head server I think. They met working on a Celebrity ship.

Val -- so sorry to hear about Lennon. Keep us posted on how it all works out.

JorDan -- I was wondering why we never saw Capt. Jack. Was expecting to see him at CC but thought we missed him. Sorry you missed out.

Amanda -- so so so glad you will join us in 2012! You guys will see me a LOT more since I will be solo. Based on your kareoke pics, better start working out my own routine!!!! Yoni and I had a long chat about the cruise today. You guys remind me to tell him NO if he changes his mind and wants to come with us in 2012. For once (we do everything together and are pretty much best friends) I think I will have a lot more fun if it is just me and Sabrina.

Sonya -- hope you made it through the elections without a bellyache from all the candy Tony brought!

Nothing exciting to report here. Still trying to get back into a routine. School is out now and Sabrina and I are planning our first little mini-trip to Sea World in S.A. If it works out, maybe we will do DL next year! I haven't been there since I was 13!

Ah -- Kai did get his test results back and they were normal as expected. If he has attacks again we have to log them but hopefully we won't have it happen again.

My sweet Sabrina went to the orthodontist and will have to have 2 more teeth pulled. They told us she will eventually have 2 permanent teeth pulled since her mouth is so tiny. Poor girl -- gotta love her but she is going to cost us some serious $$ when she gets older!

Ok, off to clean up a bit!

Amanda & Sonya - Did you get the certificate onboard? I'm pretty sure I saved all the paperwork that we got. I'll have to check to see if there is any discount certificate.

Just talked to Jim about the cruise (actually I was showing him the picture Robin posted) and he saw the comment that said we were joining in 2012. He said he's fine with that (I'm normally the one to say we can't afford it). Then I told him of my idea of wanting to go on the Pod Cast cruise in December of 2010.

Here is my dilema - I would really like to go but I'm very leary about planning any trips away. I was nervous about leaving my Mom for this past cruise. She has been having a lot of trouble with her leg (swollen, pain has trouble bending her knee, etc) she's been to the doctors multiple times and even had a steroid epidural shot to get rid of the pain but nothing has worked. While we were gone on this trip she fell (she called my brother, but he has a couple of herniated disks so he couldn't pick her up) they tried to get her up for a couple of hours and then finally called the fire department. Well, she fell again today and luckily Brendan was able to get over to the house and help her up. She has an appointment next week and I'm going to go with her (whether she likes it or not).

Val - Steven had hydroceal surgery when he was 2 and he was up and around the next day like nothing happened. I'm not sure if it would be the same for an older child. Keep us up to date and we'll be thinking good thoughts for you.

Sonya - We've been to WDW the first two weeks of December and it is our absolute FAVORITE time of year. The crowds are down, lines are short, you can still swim in the early evenings, and the decorations are amazing. The only downside is going back to the real world after vacation and having to decorate your house - our decorations just don't have the same effect as the Disney ones do.

Amanda - Eva is Alex's wife. We met him one night. Eva had been sick a couple of days and we wanted to check up on her. They met on another cruise line.

Yes, our server Eva should be your server Alex's wife. That's the one. We met Alex one night when Eva was sick. I was busting Dwight'sc chops, asking what he did to "our Eva" and he brought Alex over to try and clear his name. lol

There were some more karaoke pics, but they were either very close to others, or umm....particularly unflattering. Still shots of singing can look a little funny in general but I could pick out a few that people might appreciate leaving off the post.

We went to Aquatica last night and then AK, EC & MK all day today, so i'm really beat. I found a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride Retro shirt though. Yay!

It's not exactly like Twilight. Much more adult and vampirey! lol. You should definitely check them out! You can buy the whole set on Amazon.com for about $32 bucks. There's also a show on HBO based on the whole series. Also, the DVD's just came out a few weeks ago if you want to catch up!

We had decided we were going to do a road trip and drive between the two places next year, but people are scaring me with tales of snow! It won't be that bad the first week of December . . . will it?!

I must have been the only one of us doing regular exercise on the cruise, huh?

I'm very proud of you. I had really good intentions but for some reason I just couldn't motivate myself. I did make it to the gym once though, lol. I was really excited when I came home and found that I had only gained 1 lb. I think that's just because I got motion sick a few times.

You guys should still come! Jason & I are planning to have kiddos by then. That just means that we can hang out with our kiddos together!!!! Sounds like we may end up with a nice little group of toddler DISers. Maybe we can stick all the guys with the little ones and all the DIS girls can go to Palo!

Oooh! I love that idea. At least I have a few years to "work" on convincing Jason that it is a great idea.

Ah! I'm jealous! lol I realized after we got back that the Magic isn't sailing out of Florida next May, so it's a good thing we did it this year, for that reason as well as others I came up with when I was rationalizing why we should do it. We kinda need to book these last minute-ish, so I'm thinking shorter ones on the Wonder will be far easier to get away with as far as time off, etc. I'd like to do the 2 CC stop ones, but someone I don't think those will end up with a lot of available space.

Sounds good. Let us know when you'll be here as it gets closer. We'll have to exchange numbers or something.
