Cool thread! I just got back from my first visit to Disneyland and they had an amazing collection of ticket media on display at the Mr. Lincoln attraction. If any of you are out there, it was definitely worth a stop!

This thread is fantastic made the memories come flooding back, I use to save everything but I dare say what became of most of it during various moves over the years

Loved the pics of Discovery Island, we visited it a few times, was a nice down day, to spend with the family the times we went it was never packed I guess it was not what the majority of people went to WDW for, no rides just nature at its best

This was the form you would fill out to make your reservations then put it in the mail.

That is awesome!!!
did you notice that MK was open til 1am every night for the summer! wow! then till midnight!

I miss the days that all 4 parks were open late!! Now it's so goofy! changes day by day, etc. (I understand the reasons why.... just wish it wasn't that way!)

oh cool!

I have one of those MK Club tickets that i got on the worst camping trip EVER!! :rotfl: Memorial day weekend, Fort Wilderness, my legs and feet got eaten by deer flies, my bff at the time (whose family I was with) cut her foot in the shower.. neither of us could walk, but she had to be in a wheelchair b/c of the cut on the bottom of her foot.. oh my goodness..

here's my 3 season pass from jan 1987.. I was 9.. :eek:

PS-- I'm a bad scanner.. hee hee

ETA::

I've got scans of a book from WDW from before the park opened... I don't own the book, I didn't scan it, I just found them online someplace and saved them b/c they interested me... Would it be ok to post them here?

Great addition thanks for the post. sure add whatever you like. if it's vintage disney media, it's welcome.

Oh I love this thread. Thank you!! I sent a copy of the "sumertime Magic" brochure to my travel agent 'Mister Mouse' because it was too funny with the prices.

My husband's grandmother had this gem hiding in her house - a 1968 Disneyland fold-out map. I had to stand on my kitchen chair to try and get the whole thing in the picture. We are pretty sure she has some more stuff lying around her house, and will find out tomorrow! (I did try to auto-fix these, but photobucket is still showing the original version!)

I just showed DH your pictures of the map- he had the same one framed in his bedroom growing up, from a cross-country trip to CA/Disneyland when he was age 4. He is loving the flashback!

Did everyone read the names of the shops- Tobacco shop- never in 2010!!
