On my last trip:

my plane was late arriving in MCO
my room wasn't ready when I arrived at 8am
I had to wait 20 minutes past my ADR time at multiple restaurants
it was hot
it rained
I got dirty looks for using my CBR mug at the Poly
the monorail smelled funny
my DDP food was awful
there were screaming children everywhere
there were loud Brazilian tour groups everywhere
I was never told about fast passes
I had to wait for a bus to my resort for over 10 minutes
there were so many foreigners and people of color there
some guy air painted "jesus loves you" over the MK
there were gay people there
Space Mountain broke down
a hotdog costs too much
there were fat people in wheelchairs and 12 year olds in strollers
I was kicked out of the Poly pool area cuz I wasn't staying there
Pluto hit my kid
I can walk but I choose to use a scooter because I'm lazy and get tired
I deserved more

Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah

In case you didn't get it, this is sarcasm/hypothetical situation(s).

I am SO sick of people and their issues with self entitlement. Get the H over it. Research your trip. Done. Enough.

Would you invest thousands in stocks you know nothing about? No!
Would you buy a house you'd never seen? No!
Would you buy a car you had not taken on a test drive? No!

Then why in Gods name would you spend thousands on a vacation without using google?!?!?!

Plan people! READ!

Quit your whining!

Blah, done.

Bad day

I agree. I "lurk" more than I post on these boards and I am so sick of reading complaints. I understand a real issue, but something that could have been avoided by doing research drives me insane!!

Thanks for the post; it made me feel better :thumbsup2

Thank you for posting this. I agree with the PP, I get complaining over a real issue, but most people complain over the most petty things.

I talked with a lady last Sept. in MouseGears who was having a miserable time. She mostly complained about the heat and crowds. I tried to talk with her about how she could deal with the "crowds" (which really weren't bad), but she had already made up her mind that she was done with Disney.

Thanks for helping me make my point :-)

:rotfl: I have to admit, at first I thought you were serious, and then I saw how many posts you have and that you are a long time member here (thought you were a troll at first.) Then, of course, I got to the more ridiculous things on your list and I literally LOL.

I agree with you. People complain about ridiculous things. If (g)you can find that many things to hate about Disney, then (g)you probably didn't want to go in the first place and got dragged by someone else.

2 years ago, we went in July/August, my then-3-year-old whined a lot, it was hot, it rained every darned day and we never wound up getting Mickey's autograph. But, add to that the 10000 things that were amazing about the trip made it the best vacation ever. We're going back in a month to prove it.:cool1:

Glad you got it ;-)
Sending love to our Canadian neighbors!

It is this type of statement that really infuriates me. You are encouraging people to resent people who use scooters. There is no way to tell if a person needs a scooter from looking at them! Isn't it best to just assume that people who spend money renting or owning scooters actually need them?:confused3

You forgot one -

Having to walk past hoards of people who decide that using an entire bottle of perfume / cologne per day is way better than ever touching a bar of soap.

My goodness Tammy, relax! :goodvibes

I am a nurse, and know this more than most! :thumbsup2

The lady doth protest too much? Perhaps, perhaps not! :rolleyes1

It amazes me that of all the points I made you chose that one to address.

You have totally missed the point of my post, kudos for taking us down a road that need not be travelled!

Much love from a fellow Tennessean!

OP sadly many people actually have these gripes.
I say, dont return, more room, food and services for ME :rotfl:
