Late dining and 11 am boarding time -- arriving by car staying at SSR the night before and after, also what is this about a mixology class -- being a late comer I missed it.

We are second seating for dinner. Don't have a port check in time because we are platinum cruisers. Probably won't be to the port until 1:00. Meeting DD and DSIL at the airport and driving to the port together.

Oooo! That's us! Steph and Chris here, so looking forward to this cruise with the fam. See you all soon!

... Disney Reward Points transferred to Redemption Card...

Thanks for posting this!!! I usually forget and have to do it when we check in at the port, which is just a bit of a nuisance.

I think I finally understood the message  ... this Eastern itinerary is the 2nd of our B2B, the first being the Sept 29th Western itinerary before this cruise ... a bit of a juggling act :faint: keeping all the details in order along with planning for our stay at WDW before the cruise and Universal after the B2B cruises (I noted some of the goings-on on the other thread :teleport: ).

The highlight for our month-long trip though occurs on THIS cruise ... I booked an excursion on St. Thomas (called the "007 Helicopter Private Island Escape") where via helicopter ... After a 10 minute flight you will have crossed the short stretch of Atlantic Ocean that divides St Thomas, from the uninhabited island of Hans Lollick, where you will find one of the most spectacular white sand beaches reserved just for you.:beach: ... I think this will be the highlight of our trip and a perfect way to celebrate our 20th Anniversary ... just DW and I alone on a tropical island in the Caribbean  ... bringing our own snorkel gear, picnic lunch ... :cloud9:

:rainbow:

Not sure if I made the deadline but you can sign me up (DW will only be a spectator) ... even though I'm not really a :drinking1 :lmao: ... if not, that is ok ...

:rainbow:

I'm not sure if I'm up to date on all the changes to the FE group here but for those who are going through difficulties or who have left ... all the best ...

:rainbow:

I think there was a question on this thread about linking dining room information ... we are first seating but not clear on what the significance of linking it up means ...

:rainbow:

Also I posted this on our first B2B cruise but I'll ask it here also ...

BTW ... did anyone receive an email from Disney with the following message ...

Is this new?? Just filled it out today ...

ooohhh! Is this new? Of course, I won't be able to use it until next year:(

Can't wait till it is time to sail!! My 4th cruise and my 3rd with my DH - we are celebrating our 2nd anniversary. It's been a crazy busy summer and I can't believe that I am just now getting on board with cruise planning. Palo and Remy are booked solid ;o(.....hoping that things will open up when we board. I see notes about a FB page for the cruise - can someone let me know how we can join? thx

:welcome:So glad to have you in our group.

We have early dining. We like to have our show after dinner. We asked for a table for 4 so that if the kids skip out on us a night or two, we can have a dinner for two. Not sure if we'll get it though. We are driving down Friday and will be arriving Friday night (late). My dad has a house on Merritt Island so we are staying with him Friday night so that he can drop us off at the port. Our check-in time is 11:00-11:30. :yay: Already have a plan made out for the day.
I have all of the FE gifts finished except the teen girls and the women!

Flash-Floods-R-US.... Mother nature threw us a curve ball this afternoon :duck: and dumped about 1-1/2" of rain on us in less than an hour. Could have floated the pontoon boat in the side yard... :boat: Thankfully, we only get water under the house and not in the house. But, that floods the A/C duct work and we lose cooling until I get the water out. Finally got enough water out to get about half of the house cooling again. Having a new split unit installed in a couple of weeks and the duct work will be in the attic. :cool1: That's one item off of the novel length to-do list. :rotfl2:

My little girl goes to Brownies and I just wonder if there are any girls going on our cruise who belong to Brownies/Girl Scouts? It'd be lovely meet up with Brownies from around the world and would maybe lead towards a badge of some kind

FYI - I just released 2 of our Palo reservations for October 11 for 8:30 (4 people) - the last sea day. We were able to get the private room for our group - yeah! Just in case someone was looking for Palo reservation.:cool1:

Thanks ... either way it'll be fun watching fellow DISers getting a little tipsy :lmao:

Wow! "Luckily" :crazy2: for us, we had our two incidents of minor flooding happen earlier this summer during the two "ton of rain in a short span of time" incidents ... instead in the past week, have had to handle the following ... Over the Range Microwave on the fritz (have no time to yank it out and take it in for repairs - so bought a counter-top one to tide us over), Maintenance Minder on the Acura indicating it is time for a tune-up (1st time in 5 years which is pretty darn good! - not good is the $800+ bill that will come with doing that plus the oil and filter and air filter and tire rotation and annual inspection etc), replacing the storm door locks that finally gave up the ghost, getting the house ready for our nephew while we are away, booking a service call for our cantilever gate on the driveway, picking up DW's iMac as the video card went on the fritz, having to go on a three-day training course for work next week and trying to arrange dates for the final two days when we get back from holidays ... and so forth ... and still have time squeezing in finalizing the FE's and getting details all squared away for our trip ... and it's only THIRTEEN days away before we fly out for our trip !!!! ... boy that Mixology class is sure looking better now .... :lmao:

In re: to the FastPass+ Experiences, we have booked FP for the Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes Nighttime Spectacular! I am excited about the last two as I never knew that there were FP's available for these events ... from what I have read on the other thread, there is a special viewing area or something like that avail that makes it easier to avoid fighting the crowds. It will be interesting to see how everything works out.

Lucky you, thank god it wasn't worse. I do not want to live through getting flooded again. I cannot wait to move away from the creek next to my house. The worst part was the roofing tar bucket left in the basement, well at least we know where the water line was:rotfl2:

Is anyone running the 5K?

What Port Excursions do you have planned?
