What's the one thing (in the World) everyone should do at least once?

Someone has already said this but I just wanted to 2nd it...

Keys to the Kingdom Tour.
You have to be 16yo+ to do this but IMHO it's the coolest thing I've ever done @ WDWMK. There's so much to learn and it's such a cool way to see the park behind the scenes. If you have the chance and can make the time, you absolutely should.

FWIW, if you're a Disney Visa cardholder, you get a discount on this tour (as with the other tours).

Another thing I really enjoy is resort hopping. Especially during Christmas time. Just spend a day going from resort to resort and checking out what they have to offer. Walk the boardwalk or go tour the Polynesian. All the resorts have neat features that make them fun. And it's really a fun way to spend at least half a day breaking up the park visits and give yourself a breather.

Is there an additional cost for the tour?

Catch DiVine performing in Animal Kingdom.

I would also say stay at Kidani with savanna room. There is something really special about waking up and having okapis outside your window.

We did this on our trip two weeks ago and with the Disney Visa 20% discount it was around $70 per person. This is for a 4.5-5 hour tour of MK and lunch at the Columbia Harbour House is included.

Hear all of the holiday storytellers in World Showcase in December. It might take two afternoons to catch every one of them.

Pass on the magic...it's the unexpected kindness of strangers that we've found truly magical. We always plan one pass it on magical moment and it becomes a fun tradition. Sometimes it's getting fast passes to pass it on to a weary family standing in front of a ride disappointed at the long line...

Sometimes it handing an unexpected gift - flowers to a woman walking alone in our resort, a pin or balloon to a child in meltdown, loudly saying "look at that beautiful princess", even paying for the popcorn of the person behind you whose child is jumping up and down in sheer excitement at the popcorn vendor.

Whatever it is...passing the magic on...adds to our magic.

Ageed!

Watch the World Showcase Players in the UK

Ride the transportation down Main St (trolley, firetruck)

Walk places! Around Crescent Lake, from MK to BLT, Epcot to DHS.

How long does it take to walk from Epcot to DHS? That sounds like a fun way to get away from the crowds for a bit

I think I remember it taking us close to a half hour, not in a hurried pace. If you are looking to get away from crowds, yes! It was almost deserted. But don't plan it at the end of the day when your feet are tired from walking all day!

Go to AKL after dark and walk around. Use the night vision goggles.

Get a late night adr in world showcase. come out to an empty park. Stand on the bridge by France in the moonlight at Epcot and hug someone you love.

Find the manager and tell them when a CM has done a great job.

Ride BTMRR while the fireworks are going off.

Close down the MK and be the last one out.

Head over to the Boardwalk in the evening. Watch the street performers and/or rent a bike.

#1 for my family - Epcot and spending time, a lot of time, in the world showcase

Illuminations - especially during the Christmas holiday

Osbourne lights

Visit during the fall (halloween party & food and wine festival)

We were planning on doing this on our next trip. We won a trip and gift cards from Disney, I'll be watching for a kid that wants a toy but can't have it because they are on a tight budget. I want to pass on a gift card.
