They are posed Photopass photos and they add in the special effects later. Say, if you hold out your hands for the photo, Tink magically appears in the processed photo.

Do they take any walk-ups for dtech?

I've tried so many times to get thru this week to make a dtech appt for my son. Always give up/ have to get off around 30 min mark.


Anyone know an alternate phone number or their hours?

Sorry no other number that I know. Have you tried calling the regular WDW line? I know the first year they took walk ups but not sure about last year

with rope drop happening around 7;20 for Storm trooper show at 7:30 am will the rides be open or will that not open until 8 ????

Last year only TSMM and ST were open before 8am, everything else opened at 8am

If you want them centered with the Hat, along Hollywood Blvd. If you don't mind them not being centered around Echo Lake up to the ST area

Question - first post in this thread shows Darth Vader - Streets of America. On Kenny's Map he's showing as meeting by Backlot Tour any idea which is correct?

Make sure to be patient and thank every cast member at DHS you encounter. Just announced all DHS cast members need to park at Epcot and take a bus to DHS to leave more parking spots for guest. This adds about 30min to their regular commute

It's the same spot. It's the end of Streets of America and next to the Backlot Tour exit

on the map Vader looks like he's before the bathrooms closer to the entrance of Backlot tour (which is what is confusing me). I've seen pictures online of him under a covered area where (I think) there are usually tables - does that sound like the right area to you?

To me Streets of America ends in that roundabout at the end or near the place with all of the crates. Maybe I'm interpreting it wrong...

Vader will be right in front of the restroom, where they usually have tables for Studio Catering Co.
This is closer to the exit, not the entrance, to backlot tour

Well, they do have special alcoholic drinks. I believe last year they were called the Dark Side and...something else.
