**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

Skating details came out!

"Located inside the Soundstage One building toward the rear of the park, Oaken’s Frozen Funland features a frozen pond where guests can go ice skating. Skating sessions are $10 for 30 minutes on the ice, including the use of ice skates, socks and a helmet. Guests can also bring their own equipment. Oaken’s Frozen Funland will be open daily from park opening to 8 p.m., and skating sessions are available on a first come, first serve basis. (Note: Skating availability may be limited to the sizing of skates. Waivers for all guests are required and minors must have an adult/responsible party age 18 or older present to sign for them)."

(I'm kinda ew on the whole rental socks thing... personally, but hey if you're good with it.. I hope they don't re use them)

I know where I will be the morning of the 5th!!

rawthreads has some "sisterhood" Frozen-inspired shirts. They are sold at the DisneyRun expos and online. Here is a tank and there are also some cute racer back styles made from bamboo - they are lighter and cooler than Dri-fit shirts:

Thanks for the link.

I found 2 skorts at a local store. I'm debating buying them.

Thank you, will add this to the first post.

Yay! More details. Will add these too.

Hopefully the socks aren't going to be re-used. Guess we'll find out soon!

I'm sure we'll see lots of girls dressed up as Anna and Elsa. The only boy costume I could find was a way to warm Olaf costume. Sure to melt anyone who wears it. My son loves to wear costumes so I've been thinking of disneybound ways to dress him as Kristoff, without him melting like Olaf. In the meantime, we found winter, short sleeve t-shirts at Disney for ds. http://s18.photobucket.com/user/lovethattink/media/Mobile Uploads/20140701_133822.jpg.html http://s18.photobucket.com/user/lovethattink/media/Mobile Uploads/20140701_133837.jpg.html At this point, I don't own any short sleeve winter themed shirts or even Frozen themed shirts. Just curious though, have you given any thoughts to what you might wear to Frozen Summertime Fun Live? (Adult costumes are not allowed, as far as I know, for this event.)

I am in the process of making a rhinestone Olaf shirt to wear!!!

Awesome, thanks! We are not going until August, so I'd love to hear how it is from a skater.

This whole idea of "skating in Disney World" cracks me up! :-). I can't fathom the crowds! I picture the rink at Rockefeller Center during Christmas time! Lol. I hope to get a look next week, but we won't be skating!

Were you told which sing along show you would have seating for? This is one of my only hold ups (besides of course the cost). Since I am on the DDP, we have a TS meal planned everyday and trying to fit that in around a showtime if I don't know ahead of time will be tricky. Also, how long were you on hold? Thanks!

SOOOO Excited that they offered this and they still had availability for us. It makes me feel so much better about making sure we can get everything frozen in that day! :goodvibes:):hyper:

They did not tell me what singalong I would get. They said I would get an email about 2 days out and then you check in that day. I wonder if you get your singalong time at check in?

Well, we booked the new special package. To be honest, I'm a little grumpy about feeling like I NEEDED to do it, but since the whole reason we are going down there is to do this kind of stuff, it felt necessary. I hate to spend another $300 for the 6 of us, and kind of begrudge Disney the money! Ha!

However, it will take away some stress of how long we'll have to wait for the singalong, when we will need to line up for fireworks spaces, etc. Since we are only in Orlando for 3 nights I suppose the upcharge is worth the convenience. But to be honest, this makes me feel really bad for families who can't afford this upcharge.

I am so torn! :rolleyes2

(And PS - yes, it does show up in MDE as "Feel the Force")

My CM said we will pick our singalong time at check-in.
