Unusual and Inventive item ideas to pack

I bring a battery operated tea light to use as a nightlight in the bathroom…

We bring a battery push light from $tree.

Pump soap-I hate hate hate slimy bar soaps

Baby powder-any Floridian knows this is the only sure fire way to get the sand off you after the beach.

I can't think of any other unusual items at the moment

We also do a pumper of soap.

These paper towels are AMAZING for packing to do dishes. We tear off 1 square per day and ziplock them for travel. We do not bring the whole roll. I tested one square out and was able to wash up a spaghetti dinner at home with one towel. http://bountytowels.com/en-us/shop-products/paper-towels/bounty-with-dawn

Small scissors

Drink Caddy

Souvenirs bought on sale and packed (like light sabers and glow necklaces) to save money on the expensive ones aboard.

A folding hamper!! (3 of them)

We bring a night light, a water proof lanyard for our ID and key cards. Water proof camera too. A refillable water bottle is a MUST!
We bring a disposable camera JUST IN CASE something happens to our good camera... But we've never had to use it.

What about ziplock bags?? I was thinking that before we went on our excursion in Atlantis we could visit the buffet and get some food items to take with us in ziplock bags??? Can you do that? We are looking to do Atlantis on our own, and we have been warned that food there is expensive.

DH and I remember some announcement that we couldnt take food off the ship in Nassau. I think you can take factory packaged food (i.e. chips in a sealed bag and I think they have those peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches in a factory sealed baggy).

A zip tie. I don't want my fish extender to swim away. I never really thought that happened until I got a better one on Etsy and the seller suggested it. I'm also one of the people who brings a cup for refills at the drink station. I also usually travel with a wet bag (or big Ziploc bags) so that if I spend some time in the pool on the last day I don't have to worry if my bathing suit hasn't fully dried.

That was my thought, also. I bring speakers (small), but just for me to use in my room (need my music to fall asleep). And I keep it low. Much prefer beach time with beach sounds (waves, birds, wind).

Plus they play such great music on CC anyway.

What a great idea. Even a couple of bigger battery operated ones for ambiance LOL

If it is a 7 day or longer cruise, we bring a hand pump soap for the bathroom. Less messy than the bar soaps and can be used for a quick spot cleaning on a garment or a mug.

A small bath rug, really cannot stand stepping out of the tub/shower onto a bare floor. Normally I place towels down if there is no rug. With a small bath rug I can hang it upeach day inside the bathroom to dry.

I thought there was one provided? I always remember stepping out onto a towel.

Do FE swim away frequently?
