I couldn't tell you what the Brits call their shoes...I'm Canadian. Where "stocking caps" are toques and winter hand-covers are called mitts regardless of how many fingers they have!

Cheesesteaks are popular in this area. Pork roll is big, too. However, originally from North Jersey and it's Taylors ham there...southern NJ is pork roll.
