I don't mean to laugh at your misfortune, but I had to chuckle because this is almost verbatim what the BB cashier asked me this morning before she denied the transaction. I just went to a different BB and it worked fine.

I don't know what it is about that question that's so absurd. In my mind, if I get a GC from someone to a store where there's nothing I need, but they sell GCs for other places where I do want to spend money, I'm going to want to use my GC to buy another GC. But I know stores that allow this are more the exception to the rule.

I actually giggled myself when my hubs called me on his way home to tell me what happened. I recalled reading your post earlier today and thought to myself, all these other people seems to be having an easy go of it at BB, but of course I would be one of the ones to be denied. He told me when she said it was against store policy he asked "Why, doesn't it spend just like money?" When she repeated it's against store policy he just decided to leave, which is fine by me. No sense arguing with someone over this. We are making money off something that typically would not seem doable, so I'm not upset about it. Was just hopeful that our BB would be as easy as some I've been reading about. Would try another BB, except the only other stores are all over an hour away. Not making that kind of trip for this.

Since today's offer is a "flash offer", do any of you think there will be another offer this week?

Of course, no one really knows, but back on Wednesday 04/27 there was a flash 4x promo and there was a regular 4x promo the following Monday 05/02.

Yes. BB's POS system allows it in store, but YMMV with the cashiers.

Ok, so I tried to order ebay gc online at BB paying with BB gc and it allowed me to but then canceled the order. I will have to go in store. I have 3 $100 e gc's. Should I try to pay with all three or split the purchase up into 3 separate transactions so I am only using 1 e gc at a time??? What are you guys that are successful doing? BTW. I won't be churning like this again. If BB was very close I would but it's definitely not worth driving an hour RT.

Also be aware that CVS gift cards can only be used in store. You can't use them online. That caught me off guard.

I used two $100 eBB gcs to purchase one $200 eBay gc. The cashier didn't blink an eye at it.

I only had 2*$100 BB GCs last week, but I used them in 1 transaction to purchase 1*$200 eBay GC.

It's possible, but probably not. I don't see it happening tomorrow. It could happen on Wednesday or Thursday, but bonuses usually last for 2 days so that would make 3 days of bonuses for this week. The last time there was flash sale on 4/27, 6-hours was it for that week.

The eBay Bucks bonuses so far this quarter:

W-Th, 4/20-21 (8%)

For those of you afraid you'll be "stuck" with either BB or GS GCs, all is not lost if you can't roll it back into eBay or Disney because you could always sell it to a GC reseller. GiftCardGranny shows reseller sites are buying $100 BB for $88 and GS for $83. It's a substantial hit, considering the lengths we go through for 6-10% eBay Bucks, which is why you should consider the risks and test the waters first.

I bought $100 BB from PPDG. Went to my local BB to make sure it would work. It did.

Logged back on to buy $400 and it won't go through. This is my first time using PPDG so I clearly have not exceeded a maximum. I wish I could guarantee GS will work so I could jump the gun on that.

Another data point. I was unable to take advantage of the 8% deal because PPDG would not take my eBay gift cards as payment and then locked my account. I had to call Pay Pal twice today to get my account unlocked. The second agent told me that I could't make payments with a gift card since I was purchasing gift cards! Very frustrating.

You could try going back at a different time and a different cashier, and get a totally different response!

EBay won't let me access my cart due to the number of purchases and fraud. That number of purchases? 1.

Oh well. I successfully did a PPDG-BB churn and have an eBay GC ready to go for my next promo. I was hoping for 2 rounds today, but oh well.

I did notice it only gave me the 4x on the $100 GC, not the $50 GC, even though they were in the same transaction.

Since I can't activate ebates at work due to pop-ups, I decided to buy only a few gift cards, and buy the rest that I can after I got home. Now paypal and ebay are telling me that I can only make a certain # of purchases in a specific amount of time, but be sure to come back later! And of course, they didn't tell me how many purchases, or what the time span is.

This may be important:

I was making my purchase on my phone and I told him about being trapped in the PP verification loop. He told me to go into my settings and turn off my location, so I did. Then I verified my PP one last time and logged on the ebay and the sale went through!!!

Thought about getting a $25 GS card before the promo expires, but I guess I should wait until I know whether or not my GS actually carries ebay cards.
